Friendly lady boss, helped us to carry the small luggage to the taxi waiting area going back home. The room is opposite the 3 live band bar but it will close by 11:30pm. Room is equipped with smart toilet and curtain. Good balcony experience too

The manager was very efficient to help us with luggage from the main street outside of ancient city as no cars are allowed to go in. Lady boss was very warm & welcoming us with free cafe lattes. Room was compact yet complete. Although there's singing & music from across the river- it all stops by 11.30pm. Love the view from our balcony!!

Good location, bed and room. I forgot my handbag when I was already at the station and the hotel owner brought it to me by car so I wouldn't miss the train. Didn't want anything for it. Really the best people, Chinese have such good hearts! Thank you!

Service is excellent, also staff helping us to carry luggage to the public car park and arranging for car transfer to the train station. Location is very good. Only 2 small downside: the loud music sound from 3 bars opposite the river till 11.30pm everyday, and room size is small, which can be expected from boutique hotels along the river. Hotel does not have restaurant but there are many eateries around the area. Room is comfortable with nice balcony overlooking the river plus with sofa and coffee/tea table.

The hotel is located at the bank of Tuo Jiang river, about 100 m from Hongqiao bridge. In the case confusing about the direction, just call the hotel after alight from the car/taxi on the Hongqiao bridge and they would be happily to pick you up. We didn't have any problem to find the hotel ourselves since we are quite familiar using Baidu Map and the hotel location quite precise on Baidu Map. Just like any other hotels with Diaojiaolou (Hanging Building) style in Fenghuang Ancient City, the hotel lobby is very small since the use of space is very important for them. However, the room that we stayed was quite spacious and clean with the balcony facing Tuo Jiang river. The owner was very generous to upgrade our room to Double King Bed (2 beds of size 180x200cm. The beds are comfy. The room comes with Chinese Style Tea Making Set on the balcony so we can relax enjoying the view of the river while sipping cups of tea. The waterflow at the shower was strong and the hot water worked well. The owner was very friendly and attentive. She gave us the late checkout since our train leaving Fenghuang was late in the afternoon. Very recommended to stay here.

A great spot right on the river! We had a room on the second floor with a large bed. Very clean with an upgraded shower and incredible balcony! The highlight for us was being able to see down both sides of the river from the comfort of our room, while sipping on tea on the balcony. A great spot to stay! Late at night it gets loud as it is located across the river from 3 bars with live music. It may be too loud for those that are sensitive to sound when sleeping but was no problem for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They met us at the bridge and walked us to the homestay. We were grateful for this as it would’ve been hard to find otherwise. Thank you for a great experience!

We like very much this hotel for it's location, amenities and staff. Our room is not big but very clean, well furnished and confortable, with a nice balcony facing the river. The woman at the reception is extremely kind and welcoming. We'd like to come back again and recommend this hotel for all travellers.

Can't find fault with this hotel. Location with all the alley ways is a maze and hotel send guide to bring us in. Bands across river stopped playing at 1130pm so we did rest well. Clean. Comfort. Convenient.

We had a bit of trouble searching for the inn as our internet was spotty. But it is under 虹桥。 enter the ancient town by crossing the bridge, turn right and make a turn to go under, turn left into the alley. The river should be on your right. Owner was very helpful and warm. Tips were also given On how to get around. Twin room can be a little cramped if you have big luggage . Double is much better with more space: anyway suitable for us so all is good!

Very nice lodge to put up when you are in Feng Huang Gu Cheng. Very good location and plenty of cafes and restaurants . We book a room with river view . Room is comfortable and clean .

There might a chance that the room might stink, depending on your luck. The owner is friendly and you might get free coffee. You might need to walk a distance from the main road to your room with your luggage as cars cannot go directly to the hotel. Room is with nice balcony facing the river.

Definitely value for money. From our room, we can see the opposite site of the river and the fanstatic view of the river. Loud music from the pubs can be heard till late evening but is okay for us. Not easy to find the hotel, with the help of Baidu map, we were able to locate it. The owner was very helpful. The two restaurants serving the local specialties are worth visiting..reasonable price with good food. You can take a bus No 11 from the High speed train station to Qifeng Plaza bus station and walked about less than 1km to the hotel at a fee of RMB7.
