We loved absolutely everything. The room was great! Super comfortable and the decoration was simply perfect . Hamza was super nice. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The location is also fabulous. If you have the opportunity, please do not hesitate to stay at Riad

We had a below average experience at Riad Merjana. I am writing this at the end of our 14 day trip to Morocco. We traveled across the country and stayed in many Riad’s and hotels. Riad Merjana doesn’t even come close to what you come to expect in terms of Moroccon hospitality and cleanliness. Our room was a bit small (understandable, given the old building et al). But the bathroom was ridiculously small with no space to keep any toiletries - by the sink or inside the shower. The tipping point was the towels. White towels that had turned brown and smelled bad. The breakfast is very average. F Do your research please before you book. We ate at some other Riad’s during our stay and the experience was excellent.

We stayed here 3 nights and that wasnt enough. By the time we left i felt like we were family. Walking to the Riad was half of the adventure, tour bus cant make the drive to the Riad. When you walk thru the door and enter the main lobby you will smell the most wonderful smell in your life and then wont believe your eyes. From the incredible mosaics to the lighting, the wood work and the beautiful furniture. It is truly breathtaking. Hamza is the first one i met and he is so sweet and kind. Graciously answered many questions i had and took care of us the entire time. Mohammad also greeted us with a smile every day and served us a delicious breakfast. The owners son Hamza was also very kind and attentive and always making sure we were taken care of. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. Dont miss the rooftop garden where you can watch a beautiful sunset, view the incredible city of Fes and sit and relax. There arent enough words to describe this place. I left 12 hours ago and already miss the place but more importantly miss the new friends i have made.
