My wife and I felt like having some delicious ice cream on this 111-degree day. We enjoyed the variety of their delicious homemade ice cream, and during the sunset, we enjoyed our Moroccan green tea with fresh mint overlooking the ancient Medina. This is really a great place to be. Service was excellent, the director of the hotel, Haj Omar, is very friendly. He stopped by, said hello, and welcomed us in this luxurious hotel. I would come back again to enjoy the sunset. I recommend this place to my friends and relatives.

First of all, this is absolutely a 5-star hotel in terms of the physical property. The building is breathtaking, the location is perfect, the services offered, from the in-house restaurant to the spa to the rooms are really quite difficult to fault, at least on paper. Unfortunately, this is where the good seems to end. There are a number of recent reviews heavily criticizing the service here. We decided to ignore them, figuring it was likely just a few one-off bad experienced, and that ours would be better. This was a mistake. The service is some of the worst I have received period, from any hotel. The full list of complaints is too long and detailed to really convey here, but suffice to say, the short of it is that we were constantly made to feel a burden to the staff. At every turn, it seems they tried to do as little as possible to assist. One such example, when we asked if they could spell the name of a restaurant they suggested, we were told ”no.” Didn't ask if they could make a reservation for us, escort us to there, or even (god forbid) print out a map or listing of the restaurant, just asked to spell it. When we arrive our first night to a shower drain that failed to function, we had to try 4 separate times to get it repaired, each time them sending up the same person, a bellhop, to do the work, and telling us that we were wrong that the drain was broken. The video we have of the shower overflowing after each ”repair” would seem to suggest we weren't indeed wrong. We asked prior to arrival if they could arrange shipping of some souvenirs home, they assured us it wasn't a problem, I'll let you guess how that turned out. Service was bad to the point that one evening, the bartender running the rooftop bar, which was losing power every few minutes and staffed by one sole bartender for 40+ guests, was evening complaining. The list goes on for much longer, and in some cases, more egregious offenses. Worst of all, when we reached out to the property to share our experience, they failed to even reply. No apology, no cut and paste PR reply, not even an email confirming they had received our (now numerous) emails - just radio silence. The primary issue seemed to be two fold, the first being that the hotel is understaffed, the second being that (some of) the staff that was there seemed to be poorly trained in hospitality. Really, there are too many great Riads and other accommodations in Fes to bother staying here - do yourself a favor and find another.

I stayed here for three nights in the Yacout room, during booking there wasn’t any availability to stay in a double. Since I was travelling alone, the single bed was sufficient for my needs. Prior to arriving, I found the riad confusing to find as it is situated right in the medina, amongst the many, dark, narrow alleyways but there are signs in the Medina leading to the Riad RCIF so just look out for them if get lost. When I finally found it, don’t be intimidated by the alleyways leading to the riad, as I entered inside, I felt safe and was amazed by the lovely, ornate and extravagant Moroccan inspired interiors. There was a pool in the reception lobby area, I did take a quick dip but I found it a bit cold for my preferences but it was cool and refreshing. When I entered my room, it was clean, a little on the small side but perfectly adequate and furnished with Moroccan touches. There was a TV but I struggled to turn on the channels haha but that wasn’t an issue as I just put some music on youtube or use the wifi for the internet on my phone. Bathroom was nice and clean, just a small minor, when I used the shower, it did drain a little slow but apart from that, both the room and bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was included which consisted of a traditional Moroccan breakfast, that was located on the top roof terrace which I recommend you to see because there is a lovely view of the city as I enjoyed my breakfast. Overall, riad was very nice and highly recommended, I would stay here again but just be aware that the location can be difficult to find. My advice would be to perhaps email in advance to arrange for the staff to meet you in a public place to take you to the riad.

Ha sido maravilloso encontrar un sitio con un equipo tan acogedor y tan amable, que nos han hecho sentir como en casa. El riad es precioso, está impecable, muy bien ubicado y no nos ha faltado absolutamente de nada. El riad no solo lo hace el equipamiento sino también las personas, y en el caso de Dar Atlantic, en ambos sentidos ha sido una experiencia excelente.

They are the kindest and most welcoming people. I felt so welcomed there and so did the rest of the women in my group. They even gave us bracelets when we left as a gift. It is also so beautiful and luxurious there. It is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy your time in Morocco.

Ha sido todo un acierto alojarnos aquí. Ahmed nos ha ayudado desde el momento en que hicimos la reserva. Con recomendaciones, traslados desde el aeropuerto, durante nuestra estancia... La habitación muy limpia y cómoda. El desayuno muy abundante, maravilloso para aguantar todo el día andando por la Medina. Y la terraza una maravilla para relaj**** a última hora del día. Le Riad est au cœur du Médina, l'emplacement est très pratique pour la découverte de Fès. Notre séjour était un pur bonheur, la chambre était spacieuse, propre, bien décorée et chaude. Le personnel est un coup de cœur, il était à la hauteur de l'hospitalité marocaine, très aimable, agréable et aux petits soins. Nous avons adoré le thé et les petit déjeuner, copieux et variés, en terrasse, la vue est juste magnifique, idéal pour commencer et finir la journée. Je recommande vivement cet établissement si vous voulez rendre votre séjour à Fès inoubliable.
