La Casella Antico Feudo di Campagna

Cute Overall-but a bit outdated. Road/Driveway to Resort was full of deep Potholes and large rocks...not maintained at all.

We had a wonderful experience at La Casella! The food was authentic and delicious and the family and staff welcomed us like family, even on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! The country side is beautiful and the spirit of the people is even more wonderful! They had great advice on what to see locally (definitely go to Assisi) and we loved the cooking class and Tuscany wine tour. Special shout out to Joe whose hospitality was exceptional! Yes, the roads are rough getting there. Go slow, you’ll be fine! And it’s soooo worth it! Thank you all for an unforgettable week!

I went to La Casella as part of an international retreat. The family and team looked after all our needs. They even went the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience possible. Went there as strangers and left there and forever friends. Thank you everyone for your generosity, hospitality and professionalism.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. 9 people from my family in two units. Yes, the road is bumpy and long but to us, that was not a big deal. The property is out in the country. We saw deer regularly, wild boars, pheasants, herons and my husband even saw a badger. There are horses, dogs and cats the live on the property. We enjoyed all the wildlife sightings and the pets. Dinner was great every night. Virginia is who helped us a lot as she speaks English. She and her family were lovely and helpful with activity suggestions, showing us how to use the laundry etc. On the last night, they prepared a dinner in the woods for about 30 people. We all made the short hike up, white lights were strung up in the trees, one very long table was a downer with candles etc and great music was playing. We sat with people from all over the world and had a magical time. If you are looking for a modern, city-type place, this resort is not for you. The road is bumpy and long, you may find a spider in your room, the smaller pool/fountain we saw was not in order though the big pool was nice, BUT this place has character and gives an experience you won't find anywhere else. It is also convenient to many places. We took the train to Florence, drove to the Amalfi Coast for a few days and came back and there are more local towns to explore. I recommend this interesting and pretty location.

What a hidden gem and great venue. We spent 4 days at a big family & friends wedding at this beautiful location. Virginia and her mum Stefania were amazing, always with a smile on their face. A true Italian experience with the amazing Al fresco dining either in one of the courtyards, authentic dining room or in a beautiful forest meadow. Thank you for a great weekend ❤️

If you're looking for the perfect getaway, this is the place! This beautiful resort tucked away in the countryside is a real gem, we are so happy that we found La Casella! The staff was so welcoming, hospitality beyond compare! Dinners in the courtyard were some of the best cusine we had in all of our travels through Italy. Loved our equestrian team that took us for a trail ride! We took day trips to Sienna, Perugia, and through wine country, and then relaxed poolside at the resort. We can't wait to visit again!
