Positivo: Posizione comoda all'interno dell'aeroporto e colazione semplice ma buona, prezzo un po' alto, servizio buono, camera singola è piccola ma il bagno è eccellente, specchi grandi, luci, adoro la doccia super grande, una cascata di acqua rilassantissima. Negativo: durante la notte mi sono svegliato sentendomi proprio FREDDO, come se l'aria condizionata fosse sospesa(non potevo aggiustare la temperatura) , tuttavia non c'era nessuna altra coperta, non ho dormito molto bene.

This will be a 2 part review. First of all, the good news: excellent position for the airport, wonderful reception staff and impeccable facilities. On top of this you have free parking as well and the atmosphere is incredibly fascinating. On the other hand, the breaksfast is absolutely inadeguate for a 4 Stars superior resort: the bare minimum (if that!) and no coffee or water unless you explicitly ask for it. I really felt unease as the waiter was completely ignoring the guests and no please, thankyous or any host politeness whatsoever. Finally, I was rudely woken up by the cleaners at 9am as they burst into the room with no knocking or advice. Not ideal if you're trying to rest before an extremely long journey and the check-out is only at 11:30. This place has a huge potential but unfortunately such details really affect the review of a 4 star resort like Porto Romano.

Ho soggiornato in questo albergo per due notti in occasione di un viaggio in cui i voli erano da e per Fiumicino in orari notturni. Lo, consiglio, pertanto, come base in situazioni analoghe. La stanza era semplice ma pulita e il servizio navetta puntuale. Le ragazze della reception (Veronica e Maria) sono estremamente gentili e danno informazioni precise e molto chiare nel caso in cui l'arrivo avvenga in un orario in cui non c'è nessuno alla reception per fare il check-in o nel caso in cui anche il check-out debba essere fatto quando non c'è nessuno. Poco distante c'è la spiaggia con qualche bar per fare la colazione o mangiare qualche cosa . Consigliato

Posto facile da raggiungere. Locali moderni, accoglienti, semplici e ben organizzati. Camere ampie, luminose e ordinate. Bagno attrezzato e pulito. Il proprietario SUPER: educato, gentile, attendo e sempre disponibile, anche negli orari della colazione, servita con un po' di tutto, ci ha consigliato trasporti e metodi per raggiungere Roma e vistare il più possibile in una giornata, ci ha fornito anche consigli e piccole accortezze utili da tenere in giro. Ci ha raccomandato posti in cui mangiare. Tutto superrrr

We have to spend the New Year 2024 at this place (arrived late at Fuimichino and Tiber looked like the best option in the area). I would say that the location was good, with a partial see view and pretty quiet. I also liked the choice of cafes around (small place serving fresh grilled fish and seafood is really the BEST!). Thought the hotel bar is definitely overpriced. The parking is right in front, you can also use the shuttle bus to Rome which is very convenient and fast. The room was spacious. Buuuut the furniture was definitely and visibly worn out. Guys, please, do smth with it. And the general attitude of the stuff was, let's say, cool. They showed no interest in you. I understand that the hotel is mostly used as a stopover by the travellers so the stuff doesn't bother. But for a NY (and in general) more warmth would change a lot.

This is quaint little hotel right by a very happening street in Fiumicino. We have stayed there twice and had a fun time walking around and also sleep well knowing we were only a ten-minute drive to the airport. This is the part of Fiumicino where the river runs out into the sea, with two drawbridges across it, great gelato, a dozen nice places to eat and drink, a superb little ostrecheria/enoteca, and even a short walk to the beaches south of the river mouth. The staff were great [both of them] and the room was fine; we even had a great covered balcony looking out on the Tiber this time!
