What a location!! Absolutely brilliant. The location was perfect close to train,bus and amenities. The service was brilliant and the breakfast was fantastic, so much more than what we expected. Everyone was very happy there which added to our experience. The food around the area was perfect and all the sights within easy walking distance. We loved our time here

環境整體來説中規中矩，乾淨整潔，比較驚喜的地方是在它的方便性，離大部分景點都是1km左右的距離，離火車站不到500米。

Traveling as a family with two young children was quite intimidating initially. The hotel helped wipe away those fears. The staff were exceedingly friendly, very accommodating, and honestly proactively helpful. They accepted my terrible Italian, were sweet to my children, and gave great recommendations for restaurants. I will exclusively return here any time I am in Florence.

DO NOT STAY HERE! They are swindlers. They charged me through ***********, canceled my reservation and charged me again at check out. When *********** investigated, they said I was never there. I booked a room in my name at Domus Florentiae many weeks in advance on ***********. On the day of our reservation, trains were on strike so I was not sure we would be able to travel from Rome to Florence. I called and spoke to the manager, Enzo, gave him my name and confirmation #, and asked if cancelation was a possibility. He said no, it was too late. I said okay, we would try. We made it to Florence late evening. As I approached the desk Enzo greeted me by name, confirmed it was me, and said "you made it." He was curt and grumpy. He showed us our room. We settled in and, as it was early, I went to sit in the lobby to comfortably relax before going to bed. Enzo was stretched out on the sofa, watching TV. I went back to my room. A little later, I had a question and request; Enzo grudgingly accommodated. We checked out the next day and paid in full for the night not realizing *********** had already charged my credit card for the room. The next day I realized I was double charged. I communicated with ***********. They investigated, and were told by the hotel that I was never there. After emailing me and rechecking with the hotel, *********** was told I had canceled and rebooked on their web site. I DID NOT! I believe Enzo canceled me and rebooked me himself. I called the hotel to speak to the manager. It was Enzo. I started to ask about the situation so that I could get a refund for one of the payments. He raised his voice; he talked over me and when he finally paused, I asked if I could talk. He hung up on me. I called back 4 times. He hung up on me every time. Do Not Stay Here!

Hotel Domus Florentine is a 16th-century palace across the street from Piazza Santa Maria Novella It’s about a block from the train station. Its on the way to the plaza and easy to walk past if you aren't paying attention. We stayed here for over a week in October. .The hotel is right in the hustle and bustle of the Plaza. It’s a short walk to the major attractions of Florence. Pro Tip: The rooms were probably remodeled, more than once over the centuries. However, if you find the right spot to look, you will discover a magnificent 16th-century ceiling hiding under the façade. Breakfast can be found near the terrace. You can get a view overlooking the street to the plaza and into the courtyard of the church as well. The staff is nice

Nice hotel on the second floor with an elevator. Three minute walk from the train station. Short walking distance to everything you want to see or visit. There are lots of dining options in the area. The room was clean and updated. Breakfast was very good, and an outdoor patio to have breakfast on was nice. The staff are helpful and friendly. Management is doing a great job here.

Excellent location very close to railway station and short walk to river and Ponte Vecchio, brilliant staff, comfortable room, good breakfast on a lovely terrace. One of our best stays in Italy. Traditional building.

On our round trip through northern Italy, we stopped in Florence from 19.7-20.7.22. We had booked a basic double room at the Domus Florentiae Hotel via an online platform. The hotel is very centrally located in the restricted car zone. About 10 minutes walk from the cathedral. For this reason, it is absolutely necessary to reserve a parking space in advance. Cost 28 euros per night. The car is driven to the garage via a valet service and brought to the front of the hotel on departure. The hotel is old and you can see that in the rooms. You are in a museum. Old furniture, thick velvet curtains and bed covers. We got our room directly opposite the breakfast area. We didn't like the room or the bathroom very much. However, this is not due to the cleanliness or functionality. It is not our style, old-fashioned. The breakfast is not really good. It doesn't offer much. Too poor for a 4 star hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and also local. They do their best. We would not book the Domus Florentiae Hotel again.

This place is a scam and stole $300 of my money. DO NOT BOOK HERE. After returning to my room for my first evening in Florence, I found out that none of the electrical outlets/sockets worked. Therefore, I couldn’t charge anything, which is essential, nor use any electrical devices in the room, but the ability and importance of this was entirely lost on Giacomo, the concierge that night, who repeatedly told me, very loudly, it must be my phone and I wasn’t telling the truth about the room because the electricity was fine. He also suggested I leave my phone with him overnight to charge and reclaim it in the morning, which was unacceptable. He also refused to contact the manager because “he was away for the weekend and busy.” Sure. After multiple rounds of him not believing me, I had him test his own personal iPhone charger in the room. Guess what? It didn’t work either. That was when he decided he could actually call the manager. The manager, who also stated he was the owner of the hotel, wouldn’t offer a room change that night nor a refund. He was also insistent I stay the night in the room I was originally given and then wait until the next day when he could be in the hotel and have me moved into a larger room. Because my vacation now revolves around when it’s convenient for him to move me to another room? Simply put, this hotel couldn’t offer a suitable room for my first night, which forced me to check out and go elsewhere. The manager/owner refused any refund and was dismissive, condescending when I spoke to him. Please, do yourself a favor and NEVER book with this hotel. Beyond what I experienced, the rooms are abysmal and barely a two-star quality hotel. I’ve stayed in nicer hostels. Oh, and when I requested a refund through ***********, the hotel tried to mark me as a “no-show”. Good thing I have photographic proof I was there and just shows how dishonest management is here.
