Ulasan Grand Hotel Excelsior

A huge and grand hotel, with very old fashioned furniture which I’m not a big fan of but was manageable for a night as the actual hotel, facilities and location are amazing! A beautiful indoor pool, amazing outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the sea, and gorgeous Tiki huts, for chilling out during warm nights. Breakfast was average and they don’t have a coffee machine but bring jugs of coffee to the table, bit strange. Alohonso was concierge was super friendly. Didn’t use sauna and steam room as they charge 10€! Overall very happy with stay.

I recently stayed at Grand Hotel Excelsior for Christmas, it was a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, making it a very comfortable stay. That said, there were a couple of minor issues that I feel are worth mentioning. First, while the hotel itself is clearly well-maintained, some of the decor felt a little dated in certain areas. It didn't detract too much from the overall experience, but a bit of modernisation in these spaces could elevate the feel of the hotel even more. Another small inconvenience occurred when I tried to use the stairs. Although the signs indicated the way, it wasn't entirely clear, and we ended up following a path that felt more like service corridors than guest areas. It was a little confusing and made us feel like we had accidentally ventured "back of house." The other concern was regarding breakfast. Due to some changes, the breakfast room was moved at short notice, and the new space wasn’t quite as charming as the original one. The breakfast itself was still good, but there was a bit of chaos in terms of the transition, including long wait times. That said, these were minor hiccups in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return for another stay, as the positives far outweighed the small inconveniences.

No way is this a 5 star hotel. The public areas are grand but the whole hotel needs a complete make-over. Reception, check-in / check-out is a shambles. Breakfast is rugby scrum. Waiters / waitresses are absolutely useless. Pool bar service is non-existent. The bedroom very tired with a grubby carpet. Very disappointed and again, no way 5 star.

We had a 5day stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly, good location as long as you were able to walk uphill. Hotel is located on a hillside and if you had walking difficulties it would be awkward to go out on foot. Outstanding food and spacious interior. Great harbour front location. Convenient distance from Valetta which is great especially at night with outside bars and cafes. The hotel Maltese buffet on Weds night was really good and the chance to try out Maltese food. All in all a great holiday at a super hotel.

It was another and certainly not the last visit to the Grand Hotel Excelsior. I like returning there because I know I will be served there at the highest level. The entire staff deserves the highest marks. He is available, polite and always ready to help. I also appreciate the location of the hotel. Its location ensures excellent communication with the rest of the island (a central bus stop nearby) and access to the charms of Valetta and Floriana. Even though the façade, the outdoor swimming pool area and the bathrooms show signs of the passage of time and the need to refresh, I believe this hotel is an excellent place for business and tourist travellers to Malta.

Such a good hotel! Close to everything, with super friendly staff. The shuttle was really easy from the airport. Oh and the breakfasts were delicious! We can't wait to come back!

Experiência que surpreendeu ! O atendimento nota 10 funcionários super educados, prestativos, atenciosos. Hotel muito limpo, café da manhã excelente. Super indico quem for em Malta, localização ideal.

酒店10分近古城區，但是道路10分傾斜和很多石級走路不方便，原本有免費車接送，但當地的司機10分懶散經常遲到，很多住客都選擇走路。酒店服務不好，接待很多旅行團。尤其顧客禮賓部的職員對你愛理不理，可以考慮住古城其餘的酒店。

全くオススメは出来ないホテルです。チェックイン時間になっても部屋の掃除の確認をするから待ての一点張り。他の方はどんどんチェックインするなか１人待たされました。その後も放置で酷い対応でした。待たせたことに謝罪もなし。結局、トイレが流れない部屋に通されました！これが5つ星ホテルですか？アメニティには5つ星の印刷がしてあり、見るたびに笑えました。立地もホテルからバレッタまで歩いて行けますが、60段以上の階段があり、その後坂道を歩きます。高齢の方は手すりを持ちながら階段を上がり降りしており、大変そうでした。マルタ島の他の5つ星ホテルとは落差があり過ぎて、なぜここに予約したのか後悔ばかりでした。

是一間五星級酒店 前台服務很好 也有運動室及游泳池 只是空調不給力， 不能穿衣服睡覺 不然會很熱 床剛好沒雙人床了， 只能硬著頭皮睡 另外 自助餐還是值得吃的

Posizione comodissima, appena fuori da La Valletta storica, raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti. Struttura grande ma ben organizzata e molto elegante. Amplissima scelta per la colazione. Servizio impeccabile.

酒店除了設施略顯陳舊，服務和餐廳都是5星應有水平，房間能看到部分海景，還有陽台可以洗曬衣物，下次去馬耳他時還會再去住
