Sadly, I wasn't impressed with the level of cleanliness in the single room but the double room & bathroom were much. The view of the harbour from the room was outstanding. Lots of activities and Christmas parties taking place.

The room is very large and clean. It's just that the sheets are a little narrow. The scenery outside the window is beautiful! It is cost-effective.

Apart from very limited private car park spaces and busy checking in area, room is alright 👍🏻

The room had no air conditioning, so we had to open the window for ventilation. The water pressure was very low, and the hot water tap in the sink wouldn't shut off completely. Also, there were only two power outlets in the room.

We stayed for one night and found the hotel to be decent overall. While it wasn’t luxurious, it met our basic needs comfortably. The standout feature is definitely the location—absolutely fantastic and convenient for getting around. Great for a short stay if you’re looking to be close to everything.

Basic hotel , prices have risen over past few years but still good value Buffet style food with plenty of choice and good value for price

Great value & clean. Toilet cistern would not stop flowing though & there was only one pillow.

Incredible sea view. Very clean room. Didn't sample any amenities. Hotel itself, communal areas very tatty (hallways/stairs/doors).

The view from the windows is absolutely beautiful, overlooking the sea and the dramatic cliffs. It’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the stunning scenery — truly breathtaking.

It is an old styled hotel with lots of rooms on one floor. The sound proof is okay. The bed is not well fixed when I went in but the receptionist is nice n friendly. But considering the price, you got everything u need. It is right in front of the Harbour which is pretty decent.

Spectacular stay as always, I upgraded to a balcony a room and we weren’t disappointed. Amazing views of the harbour, beach and the white cliffs of Dover on the large balcony. At night it was lovely clear skies and we could see France from our balcony. Room was a great size with homely furniture and furniture for the balcony too. All clean and up to a high standard. Beach and harbour is just a 2 minute walk across the road. Bar and restaurant yet again superb! I went with a dog and had no problems getting meals. Staff as always super polite and helpful they are a credit to the hotel! Highly recommend The Grand Burstin to anyone!

Very convenient and comfortable hotel. Also very cost effective.

Has everything you would expect a budget hotel to have. Extra pillow in the wardrobe and the choice of mugs and plastic drinking glasses. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.
