Travelodge by Wyndham Fort St John

I have the worst luck with hotels. This story, although unbelievable, really happened here. I went to sleep peacefully one evening before I was awakened by the Travelodge welcome party (A.K.A The Fort St John Swat team) at 4:30 am! For the first time in my life, I was staring down the barrels of assault rifles, while still half asleep. I convinved myself it was all a dream. But it wasn't!! I was taken out of my room by a very high calorie human in 5 XL swat gear with his little sidekick, while they swept my room for weapons! This really happened. "Somebody" had called and complained of gunfire. Gunfire that I obviously slept through. They had rubbed all six brain cells together and decided to storm my completely silent room with weppons drawn. The most likely culprit was a neighbor blaring his TV all night, watching an action movie. This is how Travelodge and the RCMP handle complaints. In closing, only stay here if you want to be traumatized in your sleep. Only if you want them to let the cops raid your room with zero cause, evidence or thought process. Only if you want to feel violated. Afterall, that's the Travelodge way!

I am rating my stay so high because the front desk service received on both trips was exceptional. Lynn went over and above. All the staff were great. The free continental was also really good, big selection of food items. Rooms and price were average, a little on the older side but clean.

All you coild need for an overnight stay. A convenient location with easy parking. Room was spacious and clean and shower worked great. The complimentary breakfast was very goid and it was great that it was available early. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff were quite helpful and pleasant. They were wearing many different hats, but made our stay excellent. The price was good. Would definitely come back.

Excellent staff, very helpful ,very clean and quiet. I recommend this hotel for all my family and friends. The price is competitive not bad but most important is very quiet and clean and location is the best.

My only problem was that the second floor hallway smelled like smoke and alcohol. The stair way smelt like **** every time I took it. Check in and check out was good. Didn’t get the chance to try breakfast and the staff seemed pretty good rooms have heat and a self control ac unit. Rooms are warm that’s great during the winter.

I took a chance and was happy about my decision. The person at the front desk was friendly and checked me in fast. My room was large with a big TV and clean bed. It looked like it had been renovated not to long ago. The room had nice laminate flooring that was clean. I would stay there again.

I definitely recommend this place 👌. Amazing room and feel comfortable with the facilities very clean and quiet 🤫. I will definitely book again .thank you ❤️

This property should not receive any positive reviews. I felt unsafe as soon as I pulled up. Cars everywhere with people standing around. There is a liquor store and karaoke bar on the main floor which was busy and loud. They put us in a smoking room, didn't even know those existed anymore. I refused to stay but they would not refund my money. I didn't feel safe personally and certainly didn't feel safe leaving my car in the parking lot.
