Great view and location, within walking distance to places. The place looked old but quite clean. However, we got holes in our face towel. The shower was confusing to use. The water pressure was low and wasn't hot enough.

服務還不錯，但是停車位有限，衹有幾個車位。租車遊玩後沒有車位，就停在緊臨的收費停車場過夜，結果卻慘遭罰款100英鎊，理由是沒有所謂的停車許可證，當地套路太深，專門坑害外地租車在此停車的遊客，停車場沒有任何提示，應該是故意引誘遊客停車的。酒店前台説是可以停，但是停完過夜肯定被罰款。 酒店沒有電梯，如果行李很重的，且沒有強壯男性隨行的女性，搬上樓可能比較困難。

房間小，設施老舊。除了位置還行以外，基本沒啥優勢。慎選！

Given the very mixed reviews on TA, I did not expect much. Upon checking in after a six minute walk from the ScotRail station, the pleasant male Hungarian receptionist agreed to carry my bag upstairs. I was in Room 2, the Cameron room. It was large with a comfortable Queen bed. The lamp on one side of the bed was inoperable, and the bedside table surface dusty. Otherwise, lighting was good. Blackout curtains worked well but during daytime, road traffic noise was evident. A suitcase shelf was stored in tge wardrobe. The desk had tea and coffee plus a kettle. There was an antique round table. The fully tiled bathroom had a jacuzzi with glass shower screen. I had to ask how to operate tge shower. Once I knew how, hot water flowed well. Towels were in good condition. WiFi worked faultlessly. The breakfast was excellent with three varieties of yoghurt tubs, plus bacon and sausages. Croissants plus apple and orange juice were on offer. Upon request, a hot chocolate was brought by the friendly Indian waiter.

So part of the problem had to do with expectations. The expectation that when you've got a big flight of stairs, you'd have either a lift or a handy bellman. No. And I had a HUGE suitcase. I had help getting the bag up, but not down. The room was exceptional, except for the NOISE generated by the many people who congregated under my window until after 2 a.m. This was followed by one of the most lackluster breakfasts I've ever paid for. Cannot recommend.

The hotel is a bit tired looking, but as long as you understand that you won’t be disappointed. The staff are very helpful and friendly, breakfast was very good. If you have a motor bike it’s great as you can park just outside reception. Can’t comment on evening meal but having an Indian restaurant downstairs is handy

There is definitely nothing imperial about this hotel, on the contrary every corner, piece of furniture and equipment is dilapidated and extremely dirty. Such a level of carelessness is seldom seen in the Hotel Business. The receptionist looked like she was on the verge of collapse and one of the restaurant staff was just plain rude. Our bedroom was filthy, it had obviously not been vacuumed since there were hair and bits of dirt on the carpet.The mattress box was of a very dubious color, the curtain rail and the small towel rack were rusty.There was mold between the shower tiles and no water pressure at all. The night stands and chairs were so dated and damaged they should belong in a skip. The restaurant chairs as the bed were beat-up. As for the convenience of its location it was very soon forgotten since our bedroom window was overlooking the fishy fishy garbage carbage wheelie bins and the beer barrels. All in all a terrible mistake even for a short stay.

Used the restaurant and all four meals we had were absolutely delicious and such value for money . All four of us had different choices and the no one was disappointed . From the friendliness of the staff and the variety of thr menu you won’t go wrong

Great service, very nice and friendly staff. We got a parking space and they let us have our car there even after we checked out. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel bar was cozy and they had good prices. The breakfast was the only thing we weren’t that pleased about. They have a way to go when it comes to the quality of the food.

Very clean and looked after. Staff are friendly and helpful, which always makes for a better stay. Food is very good and you can choose whether to eat in the restaurant or in the bar. I chose an indian dish and it was excellent. Only criticisms are the rooms seem smallish , no elevators and the shower wasnt the best but only minor issues.
