Hotel berhampiran Lagoa da Libânia, Fortaleza

Reveillon de 2023 em Fortal estava exorbitante de tão caro, esse hotel foi o único que encontrei a um preço melhor e que não exigia fechar pacote minimo de diárias. Pelas fotos eu não esperava muito e nem estava ligando para luxo, mas ao chegar no hotel gostei do que vi. Hotel simples, mas modernizado, bacana, limpo, com funcionários atenciosos e prestativos, boas instalações, quarto bom, ar condicionado silencioso e potente, banheiro com tamanho bastante razoável e hotel com bom isolamento acústico, que acabou se tornando importante pois a rua em frente é bem barulhenta e há uns vizinhos na rua de trás que tocam musica num volume horrivelmente alto. Outro ponto que para mim foi positivo foi a localização. Ironicamente muita gente pode não gostar, mas para mim estava bom, dava para ir a pé a praia de Iracema, ao Bar do Pirata, a 3 quadras do centro Dragão do Mar, tinha supermercado, farmácia, tudo perto, mas longe o suficiente da bagunça que foi o réveillon, mas para quem gosta da feira de artesanato da Orla, ele fica um pouco longe. Os pontos negativos foram o café da manhã, bem fraco em variedade e qualidade, colchão meio ruim no quarto e o Wifi que estava instável e com acesso muito lento.

Tudo maravilhoso, hotel limpo, novo, moderno, quarto com Led branca, secador. Piscina grande com hidro ao lado, ótimo café da manhã, bem servido, fit com opções veg. Perto da praia, não tem a melhor localização visando os arredores para baixo linha dragas do mar, mas bem tranquilo de andar em direção a praia. Recepção ótima, amigáveis, limpeza impecável, hotel lindo.

Quarto limpo, com geladeira, fogão(mesmo sem panela ainda é bom ter), varanda, ar condicionado nos dois ambientes (sala e quarto) , recepção amigável, ótima localização e refeição farta.

Always a comfortable stay at the holiday Inn Fortaleza. The rooms are fairly large and comfortable for any length of stay. The hotel provides a decent breakfast to get your day started. Also a restaurant on site with cocktails good food and great service. The staff here are friendly and happy to help guests. Augusto the manager is always available to lend a helping hand if need be with a smile on his face. I’ve been all over the world in all kinds of hotels and when I’m in Fortaleza for business or pleasure this is my number one pick.

I know this property as I had stayed there previously and it is to be remembered for the excellent meals available for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Buffet options featuring an outstanding variety of meat, fish, chicken, vegetables and so many combinations! Typical Brazilian meals such as the feijoao are deliciously prepared here! Waiters Andre and Wilson are among the best as they are so kind, humorous, smiling, and serviceable in the restaurant and they are the ones that encourage to come back all years! Other advantages of this Brasil Tropical hotel are very well-known including the location close to the beach, ample rooms with views to the amazing Meirelles skyscrapers and sorrounding area, and a swimming pool located in the ”cobertura” (roof) allowing to have sun baths and also the service of drinks. But what was a complete unpleasant surprise was the fact that at check in Mr Alysson charged me a fee of 215.47 Reais that is fully improper and incorrect as my prepaid booking was completely prepaid in advance (redundancy in my statement is on purpose) and the voucher very clearly stated that my reservation was fully prepaid. Brasil Tropical hotel is the only one doing this in Fortaleza and perhaps the only one in the whole Brazil! I was astonished to see how rude and intransigent Mr. Alysson was as he even did not allow me to get in touch with my travel agency. At a later stage, I spoke with the hotel manager Pedro Ruau and he explained me that the fee was because my travel agency used Decolar as intermediary, which is used to charge the 10% to the guest. But the one who loses was me and no other than me! For this reason and only for it, I am not composing a review featuring this establishement as excellent (because for all the other reasons it is a very good beach hotel).

Apesar de ser um bom hotel, ocorreram alguns problemas na minha hospedagem. Em um dia de limpeza do quarto, recebi uma toalha suja de maquiagem, provavelmente maquiagem pela cor. E isso foi bem desagradável. Poderiam também ter mais opções de comidas no café da manhã sem glúten e sem leite animal. E o secador de cabelo também é bem ruim. Poderiam melhorar. Entretanto, é um hotel com ótima localização, funcionários prestativos e uma boa estrutura geral.

This is a very good hotel! It has a great breakfast buffet, a great swimming pool, a great view of the beach, very nice beds, and a very peaceful location. The negative things I would say are very minor but they did make a difference for me. First, the staff were polite but not friendly. The hostesses at the breakfast buffet each morning were disappointing because they were the first staff I would see each day but they would never greet me and sometimes they would just coldly look me off. I stayed in a suite for 10 days, and these ladies knew it from their register, so for spending that much money I kind of expected a minimum amount of polite and respectful behavior. Second, the location is very peaceful but it is also a little far from other things so that might turn some people off. However, this is easily remedied by spending 3 to 4 bucks for an Uber. Third, I have been in windy locations but all night long the wind would whistle very loudly in my room. I feel like with a little TLC then the windows could be re-sealed or altered somewhat and this whistling issue would be completely resolved. If you are a light sleeper then this whistling wind issue might make it difficult to sleep. In summary, I really feel like this could be an excellent hotel if they would ask their staff to be friendly rather than just not rude.
