While the price was reasonable, the room wasn't great value for money. The pictures made the room look much newer than it was and the bathroom was very basic. Probably the worst thing was arriving at 4:30 pm and being told that we would have to wait for up to an hour while they cleaned the room. After complaining, they let us up after 30 minutes but the floors were still wet. Also, no fridge in the room. The location was good, close to metro and we enjoyed walking around the old neighbourhood, but wouldn't stay there again.

Simply amazing! Two words that perfectly describe this hotel.
Firstly the location. It was so convenient and economical to be able to just take the metro all the way from Guangzhou to the Huangshi North subway station. We even managed to do this on our one day Guangzhou pass! Out the exit and there is the hotel - practically right in front of the station!
Then there was the superb service. The couple running the hotel were unbelievably helpful. They took every request we made very seriously and truly tried their best to fulfill it. Nothing was considered too difficult for them.
Being independent travellers and foreigners we found this to be a Godsend. We were very happy with their recommendations of where and what to eat as Shunde is a foodie paradise.
The bedroom and bathroom offered all the amenities we required and were well-maintained and clean. We had a good night’s sleep on the oh so comfortable bed.
For the price we paid we couldn’t have asked for more.

It's close to the subway station, and the tourist spots in Shunde are easily accessible, just one subway stop away or a 20-minute walk away.
The hotel also has information on tourist attractions and local specialities, which is very helpful.
There are many restaurants in the area, even at night.

Good, good. The transportation is convenient, clean and sanitary. The lady at the front desk is very beautiful and kind-hearted. It would be better if there is breakfast. I will come here next time I come to Shunde.

See for yourself... Everything is rotten. There is hot water but it is difficult to adjust...
The toilet boardwas rotten as soon as you entered and the wash basin leaked
There are blood stains on the pillow...the floor is mostly rotten...
There is dust all around... there is mold on the edges of the glue...
The room smelled so much of smoke. It was obviously a non-smoking room…

It took a long time to get hot water. After waiting for 10 minutes, there was no hot water. I called the waiter and asked me to wait for 5 minutes. I laughed. The room was small, but the hygiene of the room was okay. The toilet was rubbish, there was no shower gel, and the toilet was broken. , overall, the health is so-so, the service is so-so, and the location is okay!
