Costa Bonita Culebra Villas Privadas

As described, highly recommended. Owners give exceptional service. Great view of Ensenada Honda Bay. Culebra is a paradise island. Recommend taking a short flight from the main island since Puerto Rico Ferry is a low budget poor service outfit.

We are currently staying two weeks here. Our place was just fine . A studio with a balcony overlooking the pool. Our place was clean, well provisioned, and the owner we rented from communicated a ok. So many super old negative reviews. My guess is the management and maintenance team changed. The pool was spotless, the grounds looked after. So the road driving in needs pot holes fixed, big deal. Yes there are mosquitoes, yes there are too many cats and roosters around. There has not been a bar/restaurant, convenient store for years. Yes, its 4 miles from town, and the price for golf cart/jeep and even a taxi is ridiculous . Welcome to island living. Best to stay home if your going to wine and complain about everything !

It was exactly what we were looking for for an island retreat! Our Villa was beautiful and the views were unbeatable. Nothing said how to check out but that was the only issue. Notes for the island.. most food places close by 8PM to plan accordingly.

There is a reception area, but this is not functioning. The area is abandoned. We made the reservation with ******* and when it came time to pay, they will only accept cash or PayPal. We requested disability access, but when we were directed the villa, it was not disability accessible. Across from our building was a villa with this access.

Nice place to stay, great view. Great communication with owner. Overall is clean. Need minor fixes but overall good experience. Bad things Pool area in building in pretty bad shape, missing hair dryer and iron.

Good view from the rooms but Having basic stuff like shampoo n soap would really upgrade the experience… should be called out in advance so that we come prepared..

Extremely poor conditions, property not well taking cared of. Very disappointed, no worry cable, place is falling apart, bathroom sink not working, and more.

Nice quiet property with lots of cats who are friendly. Great view of the water. Unfortunately, AC was either 62 or nothing and after being promised a technician to come out we never ended up getting one. Came with a kitchen but no basics to cook (oil/salt/pepper) and no hand soap so bring your own. Lots of mosquitos and no nets so come prepared. Beautiful property and well kept surroundings.
