We took Flexibus to Middelfart from Copenhagen for a change, the bus drop off point is only 300 meters away to the hotel. Fantasitic harbour and bridges views from hotel terrace. We have had our best time in Denmark biking along the water having rented bikes from hotel reception. Middelfart is kind of a city where you can get relaxed and be free from affliction, Severin hotel experience is definitely a tip of an ice cream, most desired and pleasant. Strongly recommended.

The hotel has quite an ”alternative style” which you have to like. Our second room was okay (we had to change, first one unfortunately with dirty mattress), we slept well. However, neither enough plugs (the ones existing at wired places) nor enough space next to the bed (it holds your glasses but nothing more like your phone). Breakfast has also been quite alternative - like elderflower juice instead of orange, fruits still had some sand on it (however meaning that it's very fresh), generally quite unusual choices. We were surprised how the hotel could receive its star rating - it is more like 3.5 stars on general ratings. If you like alternative styles and maybe want to do some digital detox it is recommended though.

This is a beautiful hotel in the middle of Middelfart located on one side of the Lillebælt bridge. It has multiple houses around a main building-old and dignified and beautifully maintained. The rooms are danish charm-we stayed on the top floor with the slanted ceilings and the danes have a knack for making old and and a bit worn look lovely. Staff is friendly if somewhat overworked. The food is the weakest side of the stay there, breakfast ok but lunch wanting. Meeting rooms quiet and good to work in. We loved the place and would enjoy going back. Tip; across the street behind the hotel is a small take away pizzeria with excellent food.

Super god beliggenhed midt i Kolding by. Meget venlig receptionist. Hotellet er holdt i den oprindelige 'gamle' stil. Vi havde et dobbeltværelse som var i en rigtig fin størrelse, dog savnede vi mulighed for at placere kufferten på f.eks. en skammel eller lignede. Gratis kaffe og frugt er tilgængelig, ligeledes kaffe om om eftermiddagen kage.
Der er morgenmad inkluderet i prisen. Hotellet har ikke egen restaurant med A La Card menu, men der er flere gode spisesteder i umiddelbar nærhed.

In the middle of Havneøen in an exclusive urban and residential area, you will find Zleep Hotel Vejle looking over both Vejle Fjord and Fjordenhus. The hotel is built in 2022 and contains 109 rooms, fitness facilities, and a big roof terrace on the 12th floor. On the 11th floor, you will find the reception and breakfast area with an amazing view of both the sea and the city. On the ground floor, you will find the restaurant Enzo & C. A restaurant serving tasteful Italian dishes. A playground and outdoor fitness facilities are at your disposal in front of the hotel.
A good night’s sleep close to nature and urban life
Zleep Hotel Vejle is situated in calm surroundings near a great harbour environment, fjord, and woods with easy access to many of the city’s hiking and biking routes. There is only one kilometer from the hotel to the city’s cozy pedestrian street with shops, cafés, and cinema and within two kilometers reach you will find the sandy beach, Albuen. On Havneøen you will find restaurants such as Enzo & C, Remouladen, and Lyst. Regardless of whether you arrive by public transportation or by car, the hotel is easy to be found.

Hotelzimmer sind okay und das Hotel ist gut gelegen an der Hafenfront. Die Erfahrungen mit dem Personal am Check-In war aber so miserabel, dass ich aufgrund dessen leider nur einen Stern geben kann. Ich hatte nach meiner Buchung das Hotel schriftlich kontaktiert bezüglich eines Zimmers mit Doppelbett sowie einem Babybett. Beides wurde sofort bestätigt und uns zugesichert. Vor Ort habe ich am Computer einen self check-in durchgeführt und auch dort war ein Vermerk bezüglich Babybett vorhanden. Das Zimmer hatte aber dann nur zwei getrennte Einzelbetten und es stand auch kein Babybett bereit. Daraufhin habe ich die Rezeption kontaktiert und mir wurde gesagt, dass ich die Betten zusammenschieben soll. Das wäre dann auch das Doppelbett, was man mir zugesichert hatte. Das war für uns mit Baby, das mal nachts zwischen uns liegt, eine unmögliche Option. Alternativ ein Zimmerupgrade für knapp 400 DKK mit „richtigem“ Doppelbett. Und das Babybett sollte ich dann mit 100 DKK extra pro Nacht bezahlen, „sofern überhaupt noch eins verfügbar“ sei. Dass mir alles vorher schriftlich zugesichert worden ist und ich keinen Hinweis auf Zusatzgebühren hatte, wurde komplett ignoriert. Statt einer Entschuldigung wurde ich extrem unfreundlich behandelt und ich musste dann das Babybett extra bezahlen. Auch eine anschließende Beschwerde an die Hotelleitung wurde komplett ignoriert und wieder von der gleichen Rezeptionistin (Metteliiva) beantwortet. Ich habe noch nie so eine schreckliche Servicerfahrung machen müssen und kann das Hotel daher niemandem weiterempfehlen. Man zahlt am Ende deutlich mehr als man im Vorfeld kommuniziert bekommt. Andere Hotels in Dänemark waren da um Längen besser und freundlicher

KKevandkarenStunning scenery looking out from this hotel. The place wad huge and clearly hosts a mass of meetings etc. The room was a good standard (size & decor) Ice cold water free and on tap. Good coffee available free from machine, also instant in rooms. Breakfast selection decent! Took a stroll down to nearby waterfront. What a beautiful place!

NNorthernCDNTravellerStayed for 1 night in a junior suite with 5 beds. Beds were comfortable and these rooms have air conditioning which was needed in June. Didn't sleep great, but the family did. My sleep was impacted by jet lag and not the comfort of the room. The washrooms are modern and have good water pressure. Like every other hotel we stayed at in Scandinavia, showering resulted in water on the floor outside of the shower stall. Hotel is well located in the middle of Denmark for a trip to Legoland Billund. We could open up the patio door to the terrace, beyond which were cows grazing in the field. Disappointed to have just missed the opening hours of the pool. Reception should have informed us when we checked in of the pools hours. There is a nice playground between the hotel and the swimming hall. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.
