Second day here and the food experience has been the worst I ever experienced from being served spoil pesto twice on my food after being told the oil was thrown away and to be argued with by the head chef Dwain Claire, his kitchen needs help. !!!!

I spent 6 days/5 nights at this amazing property. First for a conference and then for a couple of days for some SCUBA Diving and relaxation. I did not choose this hotel (the conference convention coordinator did). I was a bit apprehensive about staying at this property due to some of the reviews posted on Google and this website. But I should have known better as there are always a handful of people who will never be happy no matter what. This resort does not have a club so if you want to party you have to go to the marketplace where all the bars and stores are located. It is about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel or the resort can take you in their golf cart. We all had a great time. This resort is a beautiful quiet place with AWESOME food, drinks, and friendly staff. I had no issues with my room. As a matter of fact, it was so cold in my room I had to turn the air conditioner off for a couple of hours a couple of days during my stay. Plenty of hot water to shower with as well. We were able to set up a tour of the island with the concierge in the lobby. Plenty of food choices at this resort as well. The made-to-order pizza from the pizzeria was spot on. I also tried the wings and they were good as well. "Waves" Beach Bar has some amazing drinks and good food as well. I got hooked on the Strawberry Mango Daiquiri and the sweet potato French fries. Would I go back to this resort? Absolutely! I'm already making plans.

This hotel surpassed our expectations, much better than the pics. Everything was very clean and well maintained, staff efficient and friendly, I highly recommend this hotel. Also the hotel beach was the best of the islands we have visited, water clean and safe.

First, this is my second visit; I was equally impressed on the first visit but after the second visit there is no hesitation to label this Resort as a First Class Resort. There are too many areas to praise so I will keep it as short as possible. Everyone and I mean everyone works as a team to ensure your stay is the most comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities are well maintained, very clean, the room was impeccable with a great view of the beach; the pool area well organized, the beach very clean and the food was delicious. Everyday the menu changed and did not disappoint. Thanks for making our wedding anniversary a memorable and treasured one

I want to be clear, i did not stay overnight here, i only did the day-pass for the resort. The two employees who greeted me as i walked in, super nice. Just know you won't get an explaianation of anything as to where things are. But, you can take 90 seconds to read signs and figure it out. This place was perfect for the day. Beautiful pool with lounge chairs, private beach with lounge chairs, and a drink bar you can go to if you want. You get a towel at the towel hut, which is missing a letter in it, and just ask for a towel. I wish i got there earlier and stayed longer, was well worth it.

Wonderful time away!!! The staff was absolutely amazing in every area of the resort. Debbie, Royann and Sheena made our time at the Grand Lucayan Lighthouse Point unforgettable. They were charming, funny and the service they gave was wonderful. I can’t say enough great things about them. The grounds were well kept, the beach beautiful and the food!!!! The food was not your typical resort food. Dinner every evening was prepared by an amazing chef who truly knows his craft. Everyone in our party kept raving about the food, drinks and kind staff. The resort was quiet. If you want great food and service and be able to relax without the crowds, this is it. We’ll be back!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel for a week. It's a nice quiet island, with good diving (go to Grand Bahama Diving). The food was great, rooms clean and beach perfect. Special thanks to Mussillini who made every breakfast special!

It is a nice resort and the staff were very friendly. It was actually 2022 when we went there. Reason for a 3 rating is because the menu was small and the buffet was very repetitive. We were there for 24 days so only having 5 items to choose from got old fast. The resort and rooms were kept clean, the gym was good. Would have been nice if all food establishments were open. They had a pizza shop next to the buffet but it was never open. The beach was very nice and they kept it clean and groomed. The lunch bar was good and the portion sizes were a good size. Big let down is that over half of the resort is shut down because of damage. There’s not much to do there. The market was ok but you were through it in about 15 mins. There are bars and restaurants in the market so when you get bored of the food at the resort it was a nice treat to eat there.

We really enjoyed our vacation to the Lighthouse pointe at Grand Lucayan Resort. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff were amazing! Best place for beach walking on beautiful white soft and that went on for miles. Food was very good and the chef and staff were great at accommodating food choices. Golfing was great at the nearby Reef golf course. The only downfall was the pool needs some work and daily cleaning. Daytime entertainment around the pool provided by Barry was. A lot of fun. A little more evening entertainment would by nice too. Above all we had a great time and would definitely go back.
