What a beauuuutiful place! I love all of the Quest Fremantle! First of all, you can meet super friendly and kind people in the lobby. Then, you can see lovely room and view. The bedding was veeeeery soft and large. I loved it ! And just 5 mins walk to the ferry terminal to Rottnest Island. Also you can hire bike at the hotel, you can cook yourself, you can do laundry for free after swimming in the sea. Don't miss this perfect stay. U will never be disappointed!

We had an evening meal with friends midweek. This old pub has recently been refurbished and is a pleasant change from the loud yubby and trendy bars popping up all over the area. Good choice of beers on tap and a decent wine list. The meal was your usual ”pub grub” but done very well. The staff were very cheerful and pleasant. Well worth a visit if you are looking for someplace a bit traditional.

Location was a tad far, although it is to be expected since you are staying near the coast. Room was perfect and had everything you need for a stay. Stayed a total of 3 night here and it was perfect.

I had a lovely stay at The Local Hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had plans to spend a night on Rottnest Island before checking in for two nights at the hotel, and they kindly allowed us to store our luggage a day early. It was such a big favor and made our trip much more convenient. When we arrived, our luggage was already in our room, which was a nice touch. The room itself was stylish and modern. We opted for a corner room, which had three large windows, filling the space with natural light. The lighting in the room was also well done, creating a pleasant ambiance. Although the toilet and bathroom were shared, and there was some noise from the bar's music, the overall experience was enjoyable. These minor inconveniences were overshadowed by the positive aspects of our stay. Overall, I think The Local Hotel as a lovely place to stay. We had a nice experience.

We booked one night for myself, my husband and my 8 months old son. On the day we checked in we hired a baby cot for the little one and they dropped it off to the room where I found it faulty. My husband called the receptionist to change it but no answer, so he went downstairs myself to ask her to come to the room and help. She didn’t come and said I can take another one instead because she was on a rush. The 2nd cot was faulty too and my husband called the receptionist again and she refused to come and have a look or help. She then said that she is waiting to go home - even it was well before reception closing time - and can’t help and said we can take the baby to sleep on the double bed we have. I got very upset and went to the reception to ask her for her help to fix this issue or call someone to help specially it was only one night stay and it was my birthday. The receptionist said she has Uber waiting for her and she has to go and said to me abruptly that I needs to leave the reception right now (!!!)or she will close the reception and lock her in - as her uber was already at the door!!! Yes exactly that’s what she said , she would lock me in with an 8 month old baby in the reception room for the whole night. My husband said to the receptionist that it’s not appropriate to talk like that it’s a hotel that provides service and we can’t be left or treated like that. She said if she was to call someone to come and fix the baby cot she will charge us hundreds of dollars as it’s not her job. We had to go back to the room as the situation got so damn bad . The other receptionist we met when we MAs the booking was brilliant and so are the other staff members including the restaurant. The hotel lobby location is great. However, Luisa the receptionist dealt with our request in a very bad, unprofessional, and disrespectful way. Threatening your clients to lock them in the hotel facility for the night just because she already called the uber and didn’t want to spend an extra minute to help her clients is extremely rude and I have never encountered anywhere in the world.

Arrived end of school hols Anzac long weekend. The staff could not have been more helpful and lovely. I too have issues booking thru G'Day so will be booking directly next time. The site we had 133 was terrific for our large caravan, however a family camping next door claimed part of our space as they were spread out with big vehicle big annex lots of kids. Kids bouncing large inflated ball against our caravan and on roof. Minor annoyance and shows how times have changed. The pull ring tabs, hair ties, broken discarded small bits from a camp were everywhere after they left at the end of the school holidays. I really do not know how the ground staff cope. One rubbish bin was full to overflowing yet 60 feet away near the ablutions, was a large nearly empty blue bin. I always enjoy staying here, but will try to miss the school holidays next time.

I am giving this hotel an average rating because there are some very good points about the hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The good: Great location, spacious rooms, massive spa bath fits two people easily. Comfy beds. 2 TV's. 2 Air con units. Very quiet despite being next to the freeway. Well fitted out with everything you need. Good amenities on site eg heated pool, sauna, secure parking. The bad: First up got double charged for my room as I had already paid through Booking.com. Secondly after about 1 hour the main aircon which is basically in the middle of the room started leaking water all over the floor, we put a rubbish bucket under it and called the management. Some guy came up and told us that there was nothing he could do because it was a Saturday and the hotel was fully booked. He admitted that it was a known problem. Unfortunately we had to put up with it and the leak changed ends a couple of times and thwarted our attempts to catch all the water. Also the level of cleanliness leaved a lot to be desired. This is not a 4 star hotel. There were crumbs all over the stove top from the previous tenants, rips in the curtains and some stains on the furniture, and the general condition of fixtures was poor for example the silicon around the basin in the bathroom was loose and falling out. General cleanliness was also poor. Probably would not stay again.

We booked this room pretty late after having to cut a European trip short and needing to transit Perth overnight on our way to SA. For a one-nighter in Perth this more than met our needs. Near new, modern, and clean - it was pretty good(without having any bells and whistles), and well priced for the Perth region. It's within the precinct of Curtin University, and has a great vibe about it. Some cafes nearby too in the morning if you want a quick bite. The one problem we found was that the fridge wasn't plugged in - a bit disappointing but I'm sure could have been easily remedied.

I have stayed at the hotel over the past 15 years and it has gradually become a little run down here and there but the worst change is the service, nobody has a smile or greets you as a guest, your just another inconvenience for them. I stayed in a ”Deluxe” King room last week and the Bathroom was dirty and the Shower over Bath is a disgrace (see photo). I don't think I'll be staying again until some marked improvements have been made.

We got a unit that says no window and since there is no other places with decent price and this is the only one that looks decently priced we tried for 1 night and we were very surprised with the outcome. It's nice and even without a window it's by far one of the most cleanest and nicest hotel we have stayed so far. It's right beside the car park and tucked away at a corner but that didn't bother us. We love it actually. It's also on ground floor so we didn't had to climb stairs or wait for lift. The check in was seamless with automatic check in. Amenities is great. Distance was a bit far from station but it's a good exercise and walk!
