Clarysville Motel

Make a U-turn. My go to place is the Best Western on 40/68. Traveled for the 2024 Allegheny Co. Fair. We were more than disappointed at check-in. The room was dusty, musty and the spray that is used to masked the animal smell was over the top. No rest the first and last night of our brief stay. Yes, You get what you pay for. However, what I would consider only the barebones didn't come close. We left before 11:00 a.m. the next morning to find food, coffee and sights. We did so in Frostburg, MD. Great area to window shop and chat with some friendly folks. We returned at 6:00 p.m. or so to collect our personals and head to our go to spot. I respectfully asked the younger gentleman to refund my second nights stay, for obvious reasons eg. I only need to list one of them here. No cups whatsoever for coffee, water or tea. I actually used a plastic cup from our travels a few days prior. I'm glad we recycle. Just he basics are all I wanted/needed. I've obviously read many reviews and I wanted to only put Ditto about who is really running the show here. The younger gentleman was courteous & helpful. The older man, however, was not. KiSS folks!

Clarysville Motel is a newly renovated, well managed, reasonably priced motor lodge - combining convenience and comfort. The room was very clean with a coffee maker, microwave, and a large refrigerator. The bathroom had a new shower insert, big, fluffy white towels, and plenty of hot water. The owner and son were very attentive to our needs providing bags of ice and even meeting us in the middle of the night when we lost our key. It was very convenient to Delfest and we look forward to returning whenever we stay in the area.
