Ulasan Lake Villa Kawaguchiko

Absolutely loved this Airbnb! It's made up of individual villas nestled in the quiet fields at the foot of the mountains. You can even cook your own meals or have a BBQ at the villa. The owner's English is excellent, super standard! They also have lots of cats, one of them is named Xiaohua (Hana). The grandpa and grandma are both very kind and welcoming. There's a discounted, delicious hot dog sandwich shop right outside. Thanks for having me, I'll definitely be back!

Even though I didn't get to see Mount Fuji due to the weather, this villa truly exceeded my expectations. The owner was incredibly welcoming and takes care of 13 stray cats. You can even have a barbecue in the yard at night. I highly recommend staying here with friends for a few nights. The only minor drawback is that there's only one restroom downstairs, which isn't ideal for those with upset stomachs at night, haha.

The room environment is nice, and the surrounding scenery is also very good. The kitchen is also very clean, although I'm still not quite used to the bedding at this homestay. Overall, it's highly recommended.

What a great place. Very friendly staff and you have a great view of Mt Fuji directly outside your door. The staff recommended places that we could go and their recommendations were spot on. There is a food truck outside every morning and most nights and the food was fantastic. My 10 year old tripped and braised his leg on the way home from a restaurant and when the staff saw his leg they were very caring and bandaged it up.

An amazing stay! The cabin was so cozy, the facilities worked great, and the hot spring was fantastic! It's just a 2-minute walk to the lake, and the sunrise views are absolutely stunning! I loved the host's cats, especially one that was super friendly and cuddly. Highly recommend overall!

The hotel is nestled in a more rural part of Kawaguchiko, with Mount Fuji visible right from its doorstep. Lake Kawaguchiko is just a 5-minute walk away. May tends to be a rainy month for Mount Fuji, but we were lucky to arrive at the hotel in the afternoon to good weather, allowing us to enjoy the stunning reflection of Mount Fuji on the lake. The hotel owner speaks fluent English and was very welcoming. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable. The second floor houses the bedrooms, featuring both Western-style beds and traditional tatami areas, while the first floor serves as the main living space. The hotel has several resident cats, which the children absolutely loved. The only drawback was the lack of dinner options nearby once it got late. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we could still book a taxi via DiDi even after 9 PM. For such a remote location, this app is incredibly impressive!

The staff were incredibly friendly and provided detailed information about the surrounding area. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the lake. On clear days, you can even see Mount Fuji from outside the guesthouse. It's also very close to the Autumn Leaves Corridor during the fall foliage season.

Excellent experience in lake villa kawaguchiko during our cherry blossom trip. A detail stack of local guide booklet was provide upon arrival. Mr Hiro was so friendly and explained in great detail about recommended attractions and restaurants. He took extra miles to send us the parking locations to the attractions we planned to visit. The sushi restaurant he recommended was so delicious. The villa we stay is very spacious and clean and with Mount Fuji view from bedroom. Central location, professional and freindly staff,free osen, the breakfast food truck, the lovely cat..., everything were perfect. Will definitely stay again in my next Fuji trip.

Great hosts, super friendly and took effort to introduce us to the different places we could visit when we checked in, including places to eat and see. Villa also has a nice small onsen, and a great view of Fujisan.
