Ulasan Plaza Inn Kawaguchiko

The hotel is incredibly well-located, right by the train station – just a short walk (less than 5 minutes) whether you're coming by bus or train. The room was very clean and had no odd smells. The staff were very attentive, frequently checking if we needed our room cleaned. Although the facilities are a bit dated, the staff's attitude was exceptionally kind and friendly. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Kawaguchiko.

The service at the accommodation was excellent. The gentleman was incredibly kind and thoughtful. It rained during our stay, and we didn't have an umbrella, but they kindly provided one for free.

Amazing stay facing mt. Fuji

The hotel is in a truly perfect location. We couldn't check in early, but as soon as we arrived we were able to leave our luggage so we could go sightseeing without having to carry it around. We asked if we could leave them for two hours after check-out and were told no. There is a sign in the lift saying that you cannot return after 11:30 p.m. I didn't have a chance to test this, but you should make sure of this. At the exact minute we were due to check out, we had just closed the door when they started calling us to our room, not even a minute's grace period.

The staffs are nice, and it's just right next to the train station. But those carpet and furniture in the room is just a bit too old, changing them would give us much better impression. Would be great if they got more socket to charge our electronic device (we got so many of it now😂)

quaint hotel with a beautiful view of Fujiyama! The hotel receptionist is so lovely and friendly. The location is exceptionally convenient, being just about 2-3 minutes walk from the station.

The hotel not directly in front of the Kawaguchiko Station. Need to walk around 5-10 minutes before we reach the hotel. When we arrived, we were welcomzd by 2 uncles (i believe they may be around 50s or 60s). We arrived around 2pm and thought that maybe we can checked in first. However, the uncle (the one can speak English) was bit strict and said that only check in 3pm. So he redirect us to store our luggage in a room. After walking around, we checked in around 5pm of which our room is at 4th floor. The elevator bit small, only 2 people with bags can fit in (even need to squeeze a bit). The room is spacious, bit old but okay. Everything functioning well. Got slippers, tv, water heater. No iron in the room. The only thing I don't like about this hotel is that we have to check out at 10am which is too early as compared to other hotels which is around 11am. Check in 3pm, check out 10am. And after check out you can't store your luggage at the hotel, they will ask you to find a coin locker as the hotel store room only for the hotel guests.

Only few walks from Kawaguchiko station. Staff are very nice. Best choice for a compact stay.

Such a great stay! The owners are very welcoming and friendly like everyone mentioned on the reviews, they let us drop our luggages earlier and were there for us at all times. Our room was bigger than expected we were happy about it. We have appreciated small touches in the room like the translation of the AC/heating remote control and the little lamp near the beds. Very convenient location, right in front of the Kawaguchiko station.

The staff at the front desk, especially the two gentlemen and the young lady, were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel's location right by Kawaguchiko Station is extremely convenient.

Excellent location, close to the train & bus station - perfect if you are hiking Mt. Fuji. Hotel is old but very clean, and spacious compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Japan. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
