PPengguna TetamuMy mother and I stayed at The Toki for three nights in mid-April, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Everything about the property felt thoughtful and comfortable.
The hotel is about a kilometre from the station area, and they make this commute effortless with a shuttle service running multiple times an hour between the station and the reception. Since the villas are set on a steep slope, they also shuttle guests up and down between the reception and the villas, which was incredibly convenient and much appreciated.
When we checked in, they had a Mount Fuji-shaped chiffon cake waiting for us in the dining area. It was delicious! One of the things we loved most was the breakfast service. Each morning, breakfast was delivered directly to our doorstep; at check-in, we were simply asked to choose our meal from the menu and select a delivery time. Great way to start the day.
They also offer daily housekeeping, and if you choose to skip it on any day, they give you coupons to use at the little shop near reception, which stocks food ike cup noodles, cakes, chips, nuts etc., and fun souvenirs as well.
The staff were consistently warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful, and their excellent English made everything especially easy for us.
The villa itself was outstanding. Ours had completely unobstructed views of Mount Fuji from every window on both the floors, including the bathroom, which was amazing. Waking up to those views each day was unforgettable. The sunny, clear days were a huge bonus. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and there was even barbecue equipment for the large terrace. The villa was impeccably clean and equipped with every amenity we could possibly have needed.
We had a truly fantastic stay at The Toki, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable stay in Kawaguchiko.

1. Friendly staff welcoming us, fluent English explanation
2. take a free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko station.
3. Before leaving, the staff was proactive to take photos in front of the Fuji mountain view And we received 4pcs of postcards when checking out time.
4. I like the onsen in high view during night time, and also lower the floor onsen in the morning with a mountain view of Fuji.
5. Food delicious 🤤 morning/dinner meal also can add rice. 4 selection of dinner meal.
6. Walked right side to the bridge in the morning for sunrise, amazing took lots of nice photos! Quite a lot of people are waiting for sunrise as well 🌄
前一天晚上才订巴士票，seibu bus ikebukuro上巴士。回也是前一天晚上订回程巴士票，从河口湖到新宿南口。We took the bus and Reached Kawaguchiko station, walked to the bus station no.10 and luckily met up shuttle hotel bus of the new century hotel. We just checked in, dropped our luggage, walked to a nearby restaurant having a lunch meal set. then walked to a nearby cable car with a 10% discount from the hotel.
During night time, the information counter closed, we took a nearby red color bus station to go back from kawaguchiko eki station back to the hotel. If Walking.. need 20min+..
Overall, a happy stay during my honeymoon trip! Hopefully I will stay in the hotel again! Appreciated for the people we met, sweet memories trip..

SS. MeFirst time stay . Thought it come with the private outdoor bath but realize the official website and 3rd party booking us different ,so slightly get disappointed.
Overall stay is good with shuttle bus to pick up during arrival and checkout but do take note upon requesting it booking only. The lobby will have snacks and welcome drink which allow u free to take.
Room is spacious and clean. The dinner was great who prefer simple and varieties japanese food. The location so far is good is about 15-20min walking distance to kawaguchiko station

PPengguna TetamuLast minute booking and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The cabin was extremely spacious, well equipped, warm, and comfortable. Lots of room for our family of five to spread out! We also all loved the PJs! The location is excellent with onsite parking and even a small onsen. We didn’t take the breakfast or BBQ option but had everything needed to cook for ourselves. Best of all was the view - despite the rainy day, Mt Fuji made a guest appearance late in the evening, which we could enjoy right from our cabin.

KKanoksri K.The room is a comfortable size and offers a lovely view of Mount Fuji from the corner. It is clean and well equipped, with individual air-conditioning in the room. All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel also has onsen facilities, including separate male and female as well as private onsen. Parking is available, located a short distance from the hotel.

JJennybrookThe room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel offers a view of Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, it was raining during my stay, so I could not clearly see the view.
The bathroom was quite large compared to many hotels in Japan, and the hotel also provided yukata robes. There was a public onsen available, which was a nice experience after a long day of traveling.
The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, and the staff provided very good service throughout the stay. Overall, the hotel was better than expected and did not feel as old as I originally thought.
I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.

Saya menempah pakej dengan sarapan pagi dan makan malam. Makan malamnya enak dan sarapannya agak ringkas. 5. Tingkap boleh dibuka untuk pengudaraan, yang paling saya mahukan tingkap hotel di Jepun tidak boleh dibuka pada musim sejuk, pemanasan terlalu panas dan saya tidak boleh menerimanya hotel ini boleh dibuka untuk pengudaraan yang paling saya suka. NNaqueyaFor some reason I was not sent a QR Code to my email to check in. I was sent a pin number which was not necessary or utilized. We arrived at the villa several hours early and called to see if we could check in early, they apparently have a strict after 3pm check-in. We found a place and paid to store our luggage and then came back to the villa at 3pm. Again, still had not received the QR Code. Called again, was hung up on. Called back, was told it would take 10 minutes. Called back and was asked for my email, was put on hold then was asked for my email again (which was already provided at booking).
Then was asked to send them an email, they didn't get it and then was asked to send to personal icloud email. They finally found my email and sent the QR Code to me at close to 4pm which was an hour after check-in and we had to stand out in the sun the entire time. This was so frustrating and ridiculous. My email address was in the reservation, why it took so long is crazy. The process needs to be updated so this doesn't happen to other people.
There was a huge spider above the TV in the corner, we got rid of it but it was creepy.
The view from the villa was great!
The beds were nice!
Loved the double showers! The body sponges are so clever and left our skin feeling smoothe!
The clothes drying was very innovative and did work effectively, needed to turn the heater on twice to get the clothes dry.
Towel rack on the wall was broken on the right side, the rod wouldn't stay in.
The one pot in the kitchen was burnt on the bottom inside, we tried to clean it to use it but could not. We did use the grill to make dinner and it was a wonderful touch!

We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan.
The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed.
Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you.
One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there.
I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient!
I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.
