Ulasan Hotel Forza Hakataeki Chikushi-Guchi Ⅰ

Like all the other reviews here, Forza’s location can’t be beaten. Its literally less than 1 min walk from the airport bus stop. The popular Hakata Station is also within a minute walk. The location alone earns the hotel a 5 star. Checking in and out of hotel was also an ease. The staff at the counter was helpful and friendly. A bag of toiletries was also prepared for my 8 yr old with kiddy slippers, which was much appreciated. The room was decent size, we chose the 豪華雙人房 (19 sq m I think?) with a mini couch area – perfect for backpacks, a window, and a portable massage mat. I loved the magnets that we can stick to the door to let the cleaners know whether or not our room needs to be cleaned. What’s more is that there is an option to choose “Take out trash and change towels only”. This is a really thoughtful option, because we really don’t need our room to be made up every day. And it’s perfect that we can just have the trash taken out and towels changed. I was a bit nervous about the cleanliness of the hotel rooms after reading some of the reviews on here, especially when I have a kid with me. I don’t want her to get sick from the germs in the room. But to my surprise, the room was quite decent, atleast I didn’t see any visible dustballs or dirty air con ventilators. Maybe because the hotel already took action to clean all the rooms and air con vents after reading some of the reviews here about dirty air con vents? I took a photo of our room air con vents for parents to take a look =) The air purifier in the room was also very comforting. We stayed in Forza for 6 days and none of us got sick =D For the first 2 days, I did smell a bit of a urine smell when you kneel close to the carpet/toilet. It was a slight faint smell. By the 3rd day, there wasn’t much noticeable smell anymore, not sure if it was the air purifier that helped or if we got use to it. Hahaha. On one of the nights that we returned to the hotel, we noticed that the cleaners had forgotten to put a trash bag back into the trash can. So I called reception and told them. The suited man that came with a trash bag didn’t seem too friendly. He looked like he either didn’t want to be there, didn’t know what he needed to do, or that we are trying to cheat him of a plastic bag. Anyway, I had to explain that I need a trash bag because I didn’t want to make the trash can dirty. I even had to SHOW him the trash can to convince him why I needed a bag. When he finally saw the empty trash can, he gave us a plastic bag, and left an extra one inside the trash can. He didn’t seem too pleased that I was trying to help protect the hotel’s assets, he just looks as if I disturbed his night. The shower head took some time to get use to too. Normally shower heads will be placed at a slight angle, but the shower heads in our room shoots straight at a 90 degree angle, which was quite hard to use coz the water will be shooting directly at your chest, and you would need to kneel down a bit to wash your hair, otherwise you would need to hold the shower head with one hand, while washing with the other hand. It’s a bit hard to explain, so I took some photos to show. But you will know what I mean when you stay at the hotel. Anyway, overall the stay was still very pleasant. I will definitely choose Forza again the next time I visit Fukuoka. Thank you Forza.

Had a 4 night stay here during early October. The location is very convenient as its less than 5mins walk from Hakata station. Surrounding Hakata station are like 2 to 3 shopping malls and tons of resturants around so there's definitely no issue with food choices. There's also like a few Family Marts around and one Lawson which is like probably also just 1 min walk. There's even 2 Starbucks just outside the hotel which you won't even have issues with buying coffee. The room size is quite ok as its not exactly that small and its quite well equipped. The bed size is a queen size but I personally did not really like the pillow. The TV is not a smart tv but thats a small issue as there's still alot of tv channels available. The staffs at the lobby are very nice and polite. Always available with a smile when I have some questions to ask and they try their best to answer me in english as I do not understand any Japanese. There's also a coffee machine at the lobby which we can go and have them as many cups as we want. There's also a microwave at the lobby so you can heat up any food you bought from the convenience store. There's also a busstop just directly outside the hotel which the bus from Fukuoka airport will stop at. The busstop also have bus to Fukuoka Airport which makes it even more convenient if you are coming from the airport. Its only around a 10 to 15mins from and to the airport. Overall I'm very pleased with this hotel as its very convenient with the location and the choices of everything.

The location is incredibly convenient, being so close to Hakata Station. Hakata Station itself is a major transport hub, making it easy to get anywhere. Plus, there are tons of restaurants and shops nearby, perfect for dining and shopping.

The front desk area is small and cluttered, the staff's service is mediocre, and the room facilities are old. Plus, the hygiene level is the worst I've experienced in any hotel. The only upside was the decent breakfast.

Very close to Hakata station, convenient location for sure. The room is cozy, but already bigger than the average. Good choice for Hakata overnight.

Unlike the two previous hotels I booked, this one is much closer to the JR station and the airport shuttle bus. You don't even need to cross the road; it's just a left turn right outside the Chikushi Exit. I was unexpectedly upgraded from the king-sized room I originally booked to their largest twin room. It was over 30 square meters, could accommodate three people, and felt like a small suite – definitely the biggest room I stayed in during this trip. The bathroom featured double sinks, and to my surprise, there was even a sanitizing wardrobe. Next to the bed, there was a small lounge area with a sofa and a table, plus two massage devices. The only drawback was the lack of a window. Check-in and check-out were entirely self-service and very convenient. Complimentary coffee and disposable toiletries were available on the first floor. Diagonally opposite, you'll find Daikoku Drug, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, and FamilyMart, while a Lawson convenience store is conveniently located right next door.

The room was quite spacious, and the location is superb. It's literally just a left turn out of Hakata Station's Chikushi Exit, making it incredibly convenient, especially for those traveling by Shinkansen. Our room came equipped with a coffee maker and a massage pad, and there's also a 24-hour self-service coffee machine in the lobby. Breakfast was pretty good too.

The location is fantastic – super convenient for transportation, with endless dining and shopping options right on your doorstep. Plus, the Dazaifu bus station is just a short walk away. Being a budget hotel, comprehensive room service isn't really a thing. However, if you're staying multiple nights, they can refresh your towels and empty the trash; just pop a request note on your door the day before. You'll also find all the trendy, 'Instagrammable' spots nearby, all within easy walking distance, perfect for exploring at your leisure.

Incredible value for the price! The location couldn't be better – a bus stop and Hakata Station are right outside the door. The room was spacious, and breakfast was delicious. A massage chair in the room was a fantastic bonus. Self-service check-in and check-out were quick and seamless. Overall, a truly excellent experience.

The room was a bit small, but the location is incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. The hotel breakfast was quite good, especially the mentaiko chazuke, which I highly recommend. There's also a free coffee machine on the first floor.

First and foremost, the room was spotless and very private, making for a fantastic stay! It's super close to Hakata Station, just a few minutes away, which makes getting around incredibly convenient for subway, JR, and Shinkansen. If you've booked a Fukuoka day tour, the meeting point is right outside the Lawson convenience store on the ground floor of the hotel. The hotel's facilities are excellent, and I must particularly commend the high quality of the staff. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience.

The facilities are a bit dated, but the room itself is quite spacious. We had to cancel our Beppu trip due to the weather, and although we booked only 3 days in advance, the price was acceptable. The location is excellent, right by JR Hakata Station's Chikushi Exit. Despite being so central, it wasn't noisy at night, and I slept well. The room even came with a massage device, though I didn't end up using it. It's incredibly convenient – just a short walk across a small road from the station, so you can stay dry even if it's raining. It's also very close to the meeting point for day tours. Unfortunately, our tour ended up being cancelled due to bad weather. There are two FamilyMart convenience stores nearby, with one offering tax-free shopping from 10:00 to 24:00. I used the hotel's dryer for 30 minutes, but the results were only so-so. Overall, it's a very good value-for-money choice.

Luckily, I managed to book a triple room about two weeks in advance. After all, when traveling to Japan, room size and bed dimensions are always key factors for me. The hotel rate also offered excellent value for money, especially for the peak summer season. The room type we booked this time featured a separate wet and dry area, which was perfect for our family's needs. It had both a shower (with massage features) and a bathtub, and the cleanliness was exceptional. Every evening, I'd come back and enjoy a relaxing bath – it was wonderfully comfortable. I have to mention, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. There's a shuttle bus directly from Terminal 6 of the International Hall (exit 6) that takes you straight to the hotel entrance (about 20 meters walk) in roughly 20 minutes (just one stop) for 310 JPY. This saved us the hassle of dragging luggage up and down subway stairs. On our last day, with luggage, a taxi to the airport cost around 80 RMB. If you're planning a day trip to Northern Kyushu, the meeting point at the Lawson convenience store right next to the hotel is incredibly convenient. Stepping out the back door, you'll find two Family Mart convenience stores, a Yoshinoya, and several other dining options. We saw many local Japanese people dining there, and it's super easy to grab drinks and snacks. It's also right next to Hakata Station's Chikushi Exit, making access to Shinkansen, JR lines, and the subway incredibly convenient. This was my seventh visit to Fukuoka, and I would definitely choose Forza again next time. I've already recommended it to friends and family.
