This ski lodge offers great value for money, with a very artsy, literary vibe. There's a library on the second floor, and they even provide free individual workspaces and printing services. The best part is the abundance of free amenities: afternoon tea desserts, beer, delicious local popsicles, and of course, an open-air hot spring. It's a shame there's no sauna or cold plunge pool, though. The rooms are quite spacious. The additional services are excellent value. It's not very vegetarian-friendly, but it's a paradise for meat-eaters.

Excellent location, right opposite the Kita-no-Mine ski resort. The breakfast was good, and after a day of skiing, a hot spring bath is pure bliss ♨️.

1. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Kitanomine ski resort, just across the street. Ski rentals are available directly at the hotel, and there's a very enthusiastic young man from Taiwan who works there. The prices are also the cheapest, highly recommended. 2. Transportation: There's a direct bus from New Chitose Airport that stops right at the hotel entrance, making it a seamless journey. The bus stop for Biei and Asahikawa is directly opposite the hotel's main entrance, with a direct Lavender Bus service that accommodates luggage. 3. Dining: We booked breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has a 1-hour limit, and dinner has a 90-minute limit. Both breakfast and dinner were very rich and plentiful. Dinner even included BBQ, though the dishes didn't change daily. Beer and sake were all-you-can-drink. 4. Entertainment: The hotel offers free 24-hour beverage machines. There are also scheduled times daily for roasted marshmallows, baked potatoes, cookies, and beer time, which the kids really enjoyed. There's also a children's play area. 5. Room: We had a triple room. The room wasn't very big and was a bit dated, but the heating was excellent. 6. Onsen (Hot Spring): There are two pools, one at room temperature and one at 40 degrees Celsius. It was quiet and not crowded.

Outstanding location just across the lift station, no problem getting a parking spot even during chinese new year. No convenience store nearby but the hotel has a minimart in the lobby. Hotel itself is great, dont expect international chain standard but rather local rustic. Bit rough on the edges but rooms are ok size for japan, everything is working, well cleaned and no disturbing noises. Storage on the small side for 3 people. They have a lot of activities for families and kids but do it clever in a way thats not a nuisance to those who doesnt want screaming toddlers running around their feet. Breakfast offering is quite rich and tasty, probably best offering I had to date on a snowboarding trip to Japan. We had dinner buffet once also and while it is pricey, you can for sure eat its worth if thats your concern. Ladies of the family enjoyed the onsen a lot and said it was not too crowded any day. Staff was great both before and during the trip and helped out with various things, thank you! All in all we had a great stay in Furano and Naturwald and will hopefully be able to return again next winter.

Excellent location. As close to the quad chair as you can get. I recommend the dinner a breakfast package. Amazing selection of sushi, meats, seafood, burgers, curries and so so much more. Enough variety to feed my fussy eating child. Open bar and pour your own beers. Kids play area…..more for younger kids. Sweets table in the kids play area was awesome as were all the amenities, hot chocolate, beer, sake. Rooms were spacious although the beds are true singles and small. Sofa bed was utilised for child and was super hard. We would com back here again.

The hotel is right opposite the ski resort, which is a great location. Breakfast was okay, not as amazing as some reviews suggested, and we didn't get to try dinner because we didn't book in advance. There's basically no service to speak of, but the amenities are incredibly comprehensive; they have everything. The bed sheets weren't even made, so germaphobes should definitely think twice.

It’s a cozy and family perfect place for those who ski and snowboard.

The bathroom in the room had a strong smell of urine. However, the hotel is right in front of the ski resort, which is very convenient for skiing, and ski equipment is available for rent. The downside is that it gets dark at 4 PM in winter, and there's no public transportation after 6 PM, which is inconvenient. Everything else was very satisfactory.

We chose this hotel for skiing nearby, but the transportation wasn't very convenient. The price was quite high for the ski season, and the facilities were outdated. The room also had a bit of an odor. Overall, I felt it wasn't great value for money.

This is my first time proactively leaving a hotel review, and it's because this place is truly amazing! It's not a high-end, luxurious type of hotel, but it's incredibly cozy. They offer a wide variety of drinks, pastries, snacks, and fruits, and both breakfast and dinner are exceptionally rich and plentiful!! The onsen has both indoor and outdoor sections, and soaking in it during the cold winter was such a joy. I strongly, strongly recommend this hotel! It's perfect for a whole family stay.

Room was clean and comfortable, and the buffet dinner was excellent. There are plenty of candies for kids and free alcohol for adults during specific hours, which was a nice perk. The location is just so-so, as there’s no convenience store nearby, and the ski area opposite only opens on 21 December, so it wasn’t available during our stay. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor inconveniences.

Overall it’s was ok. The selection of amenities was interesting, with some free snacks and drinks at allocated times.
