The room given to us is actually so worn down that it smell musty the moment we step inside the room. Paid so much for a very bad amenities hotel. Almost everything looks so old and ‘out of service’. I had to ask for the worker to help me with the bag bcs it was so far away and I was shocked they didnt offer to bring it to my room in the first place. The restaurant was nice but I book without the restaurant and it is so unbelievably expensive for what i get.

Since it is the most recommended hotel, being said as 5 star, so i was hoping that we getting 5 star service. I might have high expectations due to overwhelm recommendations, but no one assist us to go to the room, try to have hi tea session turns out we need to wait 1 hour ++ to eat some pizza. Room it self was spacious, but it’s a standard room you can get at 3 star hotel.

We stayed for 1 night at Balcone Hotel & Suites. Location was superb, cool air , breezy and the mountain view was stunning as I have book my room overlooking the Merapi & Singalang mountain. Our room was spacious & clean & quiet. Breakfast can be improved. The wash hand basin had a bit of problem as the water does not flow very well but we manage to open the sink trap to let the water out. Settle the problem. Overall happy ending. Highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the beautiful view from the swimming pool overlooking Mount Merapi and Mount Singgalang — truly a unique experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy nature. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy during my stay, so I couldn’t enjoy the mountain view as clearly as I had hoped. Still, the overall experience was relaxing and worth it.

Very relaxing place up on the hill, a free upgrade, quick check in process, spa service is good and at a reasonable price, wide spread for breakfast, staffs are welcoming.

Stressful! Kamar mandi bau, sabun yg disediakan sangat sedikit, ada semut di handuk, dan kecoa/serangga di kamar. The hotel is actually good, I hope they can improve and can do better service, esp on the cleanliness aspect.

When you stay in this hotel if you can afford it then choose room with mountain virw, it is stunning view when weather permit

Stay awesome but trip.com and hotel did not liase well book and paid for mountain view on trip.com but hotel did not get message for mountain view. Already paid more for view and got to pay extra to upgrade to mountain view
