Hotel berhampiran Vidyawasa Piriwena, Gampaha

Last June (June 2024), for the third or fourth time, we; my wife and two daughters stayed again at the Covanro. This place is so attractive, in terms of the people, the service, the food and the location so every time we visit Sri Lanka, we keep going back to this fabulous hotel. The people are kind, considerate, respectful and courteous in every sense of the word which I observed a trait that is coming down from the top management. Combined with that is the quality of the service they offer which is higher than expected for a hotel operating in an environment such as in Sri Lanka. For those food lovers, whatever taste you are looking for; Sri Lankan style spicy food, Asian style or Western cuisine, the chefs at the Covanro’s kitchen are capable of addressing your taste buds and, in my experience, they always exceed one’s expectations. We were highly impressed of the high standard of accommodation the Covanro offers with a wide range of rooms to select from which are large and spacious and also, a few types of luxury suites. During our stay we joined many other guests who enjoyed hotel amenities such as the swimming pool, gym and sauna which are available for the guests free of charge, bar facilities included. For any visitor, the Covanro is an excellent introduction to friendly and courteous Sri Lankan hospitality which follows the traditional greeting “Ayubowan”.

The room is clean,and the boss is very friendly and always generously helps us satisfy our needs. we really appreciate it. thank you and we will come back again if there is a chance.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal. Die Hotelanlage und auch die Zimmer waren sehr gepflegt. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend und preiswert (Lunch und Dinner). Der kostenlose Transfer hat hervorragend gepasst, Fahrzeit ca. 15 Minuten. Ich werde auf alle wiederkommen. Danke a das nette Personal.

Our last day in Sri Lanka and we thought it would be a waste of precious time to stay in a hotel all day !! Absolutely not ! From our welcome, attentive and informative staff, Kapila was particularly brilliant as he helped navigate through a superior menu which included the best Cerviche we've ever eaten, so again at lunch it was ! A wonderful Spa experience followed by a stroll round the gardens, up through the veggie garden and met the three long eared goats Garden and interior design, plus interesting artwork, was a visual delight. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a modern air-conditioning unit. The location, nestled in a peaceful area near the airport, added to the overall convenience of my stay. I highly recommend this place for a great combination of good food, excellent service, and a quiet, airport-close location

I had a wonderful stay at Limeshine Transit Hotel in Negambo. The room was impeccably clean, with fresh bedsheets, and both the AC and fans were in perfect working condition. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with handwash, shampoo, and body wash. Hot water and towels were also readily available. The hotel's location is very convenient, with a Cargills grocery store just a 2-minute walk away. There's a balcony and I enjoyed the view. The staff were exceptionally nice and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend Limeshine Transit Hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the hotel staff for their excellent service—keep up the great work!

We spent 2 weeks at the Suriya Resort hotel.Beautiful hotel with a large swimming polo and 50 metres grom the ocean.Amazing service ,always smiling and wiking to help. Very toasty food.Special thanks to Mrs.Ishali. Who iż always smiling and ready to help.And also for Mar.Marasenghe and Mrs.Heruni, from the restaurant and the entire bar and swimming polo Staff. This place is excellent for a stay. Especially if coming to or from the international airport. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. The room is excellent, pristine and equipped for all that is needed for our overnight stay. The bed is also very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to the room however I chose to have this at the small table and chairs outside of the room on a small terrace. A perfect place for this. The breakfast is more than adequate, also caters for me as a vegetarian. I asked for a knock at my door to be woken up in case I had slept thrmy alarm and this was given. Such a delightful place to stay. A small courtyard garden with a static table and seats if wanted. Garden lights during the evening make this a pretty area to relax. Tea, coffee and water are available in the room. There was air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The accommodation is located down a side road from the main road. This means it’s nice and quiet. For dinner we decided to walk jumping a few metres to another hotel which served food. However, Faith Hotel do have menus for which to order food which would be delivered if required. Alternatively, we were offered an option of being taken to another place if we wished. We had booked for 2 separate airport transfers as we were travelling on separately to different places. This was organised by and with the owner dropping us all in good time. I noted while at the stay, information regarding trips to places and even tours can be organised. Additionally there is information on an Ayurveda treatments option at a place called Ayurveda Villa which really looked good. This had different packages with a stay including food consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor to decide on the relevant treatments for your package. To use up our rupees we were able to pay part cash, part card which was so convenient. This couple really do offer everything in a stay at Airport Faith Hotel. They are passionate about what they do, are committed to making your stay the best. They have everything available or on hand and can’t do enough to make your stay a happy and good one. I highly recommend a stay here.

Ziegler Cottage was our comfortable home for a few days while we visited Negombo. It is easy to reach from the airport, and you can take tuk-tuks or the bus into Negombo. Our room had a sea view and a balcony with sea breezes making airconditioning unnecessary. The waves were too high for us to swim in the sea but the pool made up for it. Food, especially the fruit selection at breakfast, was very good. Staff were responsive and very hard-working. The hotel can organize trips--our all-day outing to a spice plantation, the Ridee Viharaya Temple, and the elephant park was perfect. Everyone goes out of their way to accommodate your needs. The hotel owner drove us to our destination when our ride did not show up. Thank you for a memorable stay! we look forward to returning.
