Stayed at this motel as it was the closest to the church where i attended a funeral . What a great surprise , i stayed in a thoroughly modern spa unit with separate lounge and huge bathroom . Fox sports on tv , comfortable lounge and all the mod cons. Only issue was shower was over the spa so care getting in and out. Hot breakfast was as good as it gets . Owners were more than happy for me to leave car there whilst i attended funeral. Will i come back . Absolutely

Clean cabins with good on-site amenities including a small playground and indoor pool along with a large park and playground across the road. Like any caravan park, the sites are very closely spaced but we weren’t disturbed by any noise in the evening and kids slept well. Was well located with cafe’s etc within easy reach

Very clean with lots of facilities within the hotel. Bar, restaurant, swimming pool, gym. Located in the centre of downtown Geloong. Excellent breakfast choices. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was quite surprised because in UK our breakfast was breakfast from a vending machine at this chain but here they seem to take customer care to the next level. I had no faults my entire stay.

Very clean, comfortable and modern rooms. Super friendly staff! Many useful amenities such as gym, bar, restaurant etc. Fantastic location of the waterfront, easy access to Eastern Beach and many restaurants Geelong has to offer. 10/10! Would definitely stay again! :)

Room was very well designed, however in the bedroom part when the doors are closed no air conditioning could access making nights uncomfortable. But the most uncomfortable thing of all was the bed. A marshmallow bed gave me no support and therefore a sore back. Tried the couch one night was much more comfortable but then I started thinking about hygiene and thought I could get pink eye or something so begrudgingly went back to soft-as bed for more achy sleep.

Hard to do this review as there was nothing really wrong but there were a few misses. I got the feeling it is mostly a conference hotel - and one that has been retrofitted to update it! Staff were all really young and a bit too casual for a hotel. As it was Easter I had to book two nights and it was quite expensive given it is quite basic. Breakfast is included which is quite lovely. No lunch at Easter and a very small bar menu - Mainly pizza this weekend. Good wine list. Setting is not as nice as I hoped / I got a view of the car park and a bit of food course. It is in the botanic gardens but the gardens are very basic and mostly grass and trees! Nice pool area but mostly a bit overpriced for me.

For a one-bedroom apartment, the room is nice and spacious. The toilet is likewise tidy. The bed is comfy. A clean kitchen with all necessary supplies. Friendly and welcoming staff members. I left my belongings outside of working hours and contacted their staff. They are quite helpful and willing to come and open the door. I am grateful for their assistance. Everything is within walking distance. Taxi ride to the railway station takes less than five minutes.

The restaurant was not open on the night I was there but I had room service which was nice and the cost very reasonable. The room was a bit dusty but this was understandable as there are renovations happening in the hotel. This was not enough to complain about though.

After reading the reviews it sounded like the place had gone even further down than my previous review posted here four years ago. I was pleasantly surprised. Was allocated Room 21 and found it had been renovated recently. Repainted, new timber panelled ceiling, new blinds, new split system aircon, bathroom completely redone, new tiles and all new fittings. Cleanliness now of an acceptable standard, Having said that the place has inherent weaknesses. No handbasin, shelf or mirror in the bathroom, you use the sink in the kitchenette. Room 21 has no hanging space or storage, so one spreads your gear over the second bed or lives out of a suitcase. Generous supply of towels, all replaced. However they missed making my bed on the first night. I mentioned it to the manager and I noticed they changed all the linen the next day even though I had only slept in it two nights. There are other smaller rooms facing the main road with hanging space. I have no idea if these rooms have been upgraded. The handrails on the staircase to the upstairs rooms desperately needs new paint. The advertised complimentary breakfast no longer happens, because of Covid they say. The website advertising requires updating. All in all it looks like the place might be changing direction, there is still quite a way to go. The inherent weaknesses mean it will never be more than a cheap motel. Tariff was $120 per night during peak airshow time.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night in early May. Excellent service by Karla who checked us in and couldn't be nicer.She was VERY helpful with our room and offering advice .She went out of her way when we told her we each had a cold and had little sleep the last 2 nights .She kindly gave us a quieter room which was perfect for us...we slept for 10 hours solid.Couldn't be happier to stay here and HIGHLY recommend it.Great Location and Great Motor Inn.
