The hotel is great. Kind staff. My room was proper. I spent my time there due to work. I could relax very well. I had breakfast in the price and it was really great to have these delicious meals before work. The hotel has a good placement. Everything is very close to it. If you choose this hotel for any purpose, you wont be dissapointed.

The new and unconventional has found its way into Grand Hotel Wiesler in Graz. Starting the day with an irresistable breakfast next to modern street art the Speisesaal restaurant keeps international delicacies and a breezy soul ready for great culinary experiences. The in house barber pampers with an old fashioned hand shave. Presenting the 102 redesigned and refurbished rooms an exciting mix of old and new supplemented with a multitude of inspiring details. The Schlossberg city landmark and Kunsthaus art museum are just a few minutes amble down the road and stylish old fashioned city bikes are standing by for a city tour. Afterwards the sauna provide for any necessary relaxation. And those who still have to work will find free WiFi throughout the hotel.

In Graz for a customer meeting and stayed in Grand Hotel Wiesler Graz for 3 nights (Jan 18 to Jan 21). Truly enjoyed this stay, Five Star for sure. The facility was built in 1909 (guessed from its WiFi password), yet the interior is very modern. The staff was very friendly and responsive, and the breakfast was the best we ever had in Europe. The hotel is in a premium location, with Tram #1, 4,6,7 connecting to the train station,

This hotel boasts a practical, prime location close to the old town centre of Graz (and, in our opinon, to some of the best breakfast spots in town, which is not a negligeable benefit). Their employees are not excruciatingly friendly but are nevertheless extremely competent and were even able to accommodate our request for a lower-floor suite. Their bedding is without a doubt the most comfortable that I have ever seen, and the rooms are spacious and imaginatively furnished. All in all, this is a wonderful hotel that I would warmly recommend to anyone who wishes to experience Graz in a quite luxurious light, especially when it comes to the price-performance ratio. There is just one quite peculiar issue that I think should be advertised more prominently: if you are taking a hot shower with the bathroom door open, the fire alarm will go off, and if/when it does, you will have to pay 500€ (as of November 2022) for the unnecessary visit by the fire brigade. I read this in the hotel leaflet, which is available in every room, but I don't think all guests read these booklets (I do, but I adore hotels and love sniffing around every amenity available in the room). Seeing as this was precisely what must have happened to one of the guests in the hotel when we were staying there (elevators were not working, the fire alarm light in the main lobby was blinking and there was a huge fire truck parked in front of the hotel), I think a more public warning would definitely not have gone amiss. Staying in this hotel was an extremely pleasant experience and a wonderful surprise. We didn't get the chance to try out their restaurant Der Steirer, but we did spend quite some time in their café (Kaffe Weitzer) - their warm apple strudel with vanilla sauce is nothing short of exquisite!
