It was very close to the station, so it was convenient for traveling with a suitcase.
It's a shame that the room was dimly lit.
The room had a certain lived-in feel.
There was a kettle and coffee and tea facilities in the room.

Overall, the stay was great for the one night I was visiting Genoa. When I arrived, they informed me they had upgraded my room to their sister hotel Nuovo Nord, and wow what an upgrade! I had originally booked a standard single room, but the room I got was a large double room with a lovely modern large ensuite, along with a smart tv, mini fridge and large wardrobe space. It was in a great location - literally a 2 minute walk from Piazza Principe station (which was perfect having just arrived there from the airport Volabus) and is very centrally located, tourist sites within walking distance. The breakfast included also was nice with a good selection of cold meats, breads, cakes, pastries, coffees, juices, yoghurts and fruits. The only complaint I have is there was quite a lot of road/street noise which interrupted my sleep a bit, but this is to be expected on a busy street in central Genoa!

Nice stay at the hotel. The lady working at the reception on the night of the 08/08/23 was amazing and gave great tips on the food and helped us a lot. The room is big, quiet, has a lot of space and is clean. The room has AC so it's fresh for the summer

A very budget hotel close to the train station, which is why I picked it. But be aware that Genoa has two train stations, so if you are planning to visit Cinque Terre, it's less convenient as the trains mainly leave from the other station. Room was large, with high ceilings, which was nice. Bathroom was small, with a door that didn't close properly. Wi-fi is poor. Housekeeping was poor. They didn't replace the toilet paper, so I kept having to ask for more. They also skipped cleaning one day. They also didn't take out the trash during our stay. But the price was nice. So overall it was OK. But I would not stay again.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel con una coppia di amici e i nostri piccolini per una notte. Camere molto spaziose, pulito personale molto gentile. Colazione buona varia scelta. L unica nota un po' negativa è il tempo di attesa per la camera (check in) alle 15.00 . Per il resto posto consigliato dato che è vicino alla stazione e in pieno centro per varie attrazioni tra cui l Acquario.

L’accettazione si fa alla reception dell’hotel HNN al civico 153 in cui e’ possibile approfittare del deposito bagagli sia prima che venga assegnata la camera che dopo il check out. Grazie ad una chiave con chip si accede autonomamente al portone dell’hotel in qualsiasi orario. I due hotel sono “comunicanti” tant’e’ che la bella sala colazione e’ in condivisione per la clientela di entrambi. La colazione consiste in bevande calde da selezionare alla macchinetta, torte e dolcetti, Nutella, frutta, affettati e formaggi; succhi di frutta ed acqua. La mia richiesta di avere una stanza in posizione silenziosa e tranquilla e’ stata soddisfatta con l’assegnazione della camera # 213 al II piano che da’ sulla strada secondaria. E’ una stanza tripla ampia con i dispenser di sapone sia al lavandino che in doccia. Il doccino del WC sostituisce il bidet. Il minifrigo e’ poco capiente e sono presenti un paio di bottigliette d’acqua a pagamento. Ho richiesto un VI cuscino e un doppione della chiave e sono stata accontentata. La posizione e’ strategica essendo sia vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, che al porto, che al centro storico, nonche’ all’ascensore Balbi (da provare per la sua originalita’!)

Letto piccolo e duro, cuscino sottile. Doccia piccola, di difficile e pericoloso accesso (aggrapparsi al rubinetto o altro per non scivolare nel tentativo di entrare). Porta della doccia appena sufficiente per entrare. No wifi. Euro 80 per 9 mq senza colazione che in ogni caso sarebbe stata servita dopo le 7 in un ambientino letteralmente spartano sono troppi. Si consideri il rumore notturno continuo simile ad un elettrodomestico in funzione. Grazie. Molto meglio gli alberghi da 27 euro tutto compreso incontrati sul Cammino di Santiago. Ma lì siamo in Spagna.
