"The hotel room looks a bit small from the website but is cute from the decorations. We have to walk some distance to the lobby and malls, unless u r coming to attend a concert, then this hotel is nearer to the exhibition / event hall. Room is clean n hv basic toiletries. The downside is toilet without a door only glass panel door so light sleepers person will easier be woke up by another person using the toilet."

"We stayed here to celebrate my loved one’s birthday, and it turned out to be such a wonderful and memorable stay. The staff kindly upgraded us to a higher floor with a beautiful view and a more spacious room, which made the occasion feel even more special.
The room was cozy and well-equipped — it had a refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, and kitchenware, making it perfect even for a long stay.
At night, the floor felt a bit cold, so the cushioned slippers provided were a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated.
If I had to mention one small thing, only bath towels were provided, so it would be even better if small towels were available as well.
Overall, we were very happy and grateful for the warm hospitality. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!"

"🌟 5/5 – Absolutely the Best Stay Ever! 🌟
My stay at Wyndham Ion Majestic Genting was simply perfect from start to finish! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed — everything felt so new and luxurious. The view from my unit was breathtaking, especially in the morning when the mist rolled over the mountains. The weather was cool and refreshing — it truly felt like being above the clouds!
The facilities were amazing — the Skypool 50 was stunning, the heated pool was superb and my kids absolutely loved it! The breakfast buffet was excellent — so many choices and every dish was delicious.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and always made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The location was convenient and peaceful, just a short drive from the Genting attractions, yet away from the crowds — perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The price was really worth it for the comfort, quality, and experience we had. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single flaw. It’s truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I’ll definitely return in December with my big family — can’t wait to experience it all over again! 💯✨"

"We were surprised that the apartment is spacious and fully furnished for a relaxing stay. Everything was clean: floors, kitchen surfaces, bedsheets.
Location was excellent for food and browsing. We didn't drive so the nearby shops were convenient and had everything you would need for food and daily necessities."

"My stay at Scapes Hotel Genting Highlands was truly enjoyable! The hotel has a modern and cozy design, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the highlands. The location is convenient—just a short drive to SkyAvenue and the attractions, yet quiet enough for a peaceful rest.
What stood out most was their breakfast – so tasty and satisfying, the best way to fuel up before exploring. Their omelette 🤌🏻🤌🏻 Marvellous!
The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth. I especially appreciated their warm hospitality. The facilities are well-maintained, and the breakfast selection was tasty and satisfying.

"Spacious 2 bedroom unit facing mountain view. Quite new & clean but a reminder for the hotel cleaner that the bathroom sink needs to be cleaned/unclogged because it drains very slow. Most bathroom amenities are provided except for toothbrush & toothpaste. Do take note that check in is to be completed at Swiss Garden hotel lobby. Overall still good value for money."

breakfast service has to be improved though. breakfast was ala carte and we waited close to an hour for our breakfast to be served. even the coffee took an hour. the next day, we just skipped the breakfast completely.

If this hotel were a car, it would be a flashy Italian model with serious build quality issues.
The best thing about this hotel is the price. RM200 for a king bed on a public holiday felt like a steal. Driving in from SkyAvenue, the road was dark, but the brightly lit parking area gave us high hopes.
Check-in via the self-service kiosk was smooth, though finding our room was confusing due to the odd 5-digit numbering. Thankfully, the concierge guided us.
First impression of the room: it matched the promo photos. But our excitement ended quickly. The door wouldn’t lock properly and kept beeping. A technician came, hammered the strike plate, and fixed it—hardly reassuring for security.
Next came the bathroom. Many reviews mentioned a bad construction smell, and they were right. The shower drained poorly, leaving a strong concrete odor as water pooled.
The kitchen looked impressive with plenty of cabinets, but surprisingly had no power sockets near the counter. I had to boil water at the desk instead.
The TV was another letdown. Supposedly “smart,” it had no internet or channels. I tried everything—resetting, power cycling—but there was no Wi-Fi option at all. So much for Netflix night.
Design-wise, the room looked sleek at first glance, but flaws showed up everywhere: paint splatters in the bathroom, noisy metal racks, and tile flooring that picked up every footprint.
The next morning, the sunrise over Genting Highlands was breathtaking—arguably the highlight of our stay.
Exploring the hotel, we found most shops, including Hard Rock Café and the rooftop, closed with no operating hours posted. Facilities like the gym, indoor pool, and kids’ zone were open but overcrowded due to the holiday. We skipped breakfast as it wasn’t included.
Checkout was quick and smooth.
Looking back, the real problem isn’t management, but poor construction quality that doesn’t reflect in typical rating categories like cleanliness, service, or location. The place looks good on the surface, but corners were clearly cut in development.
I really wanted to love this hotel—the concept, location, and price are great. But unless management addresses these quality issues, the high ratings are misleading.

NNaddy28This hotel took a bit longer to check in even though there were not many guests to entertain. I arrived around 7.00pm but they said my room is ”not ready” yet (but she said housekeeping was done earlier). Check-in counter is at Jade tower (tower 2)..but we need to park at Tower 7 and stay at Tower 1. What?? To me this is so ridiculous.. and then, when I'm about to enter my room, I found the card is not functioning..I REPEAT, I CANNOT ENTER MY ROOM AND I NEED TO WAIT AROUND ONE HOUR WITH THE KIDS IN FRONT OF THE DOOR. But after someone came, he used his master card to open my door and asked me to update my own card ”when I'm free” at Tower 2. Why do I need to go through this hassle and make it so complicated?? I feel very disappointed and tired to entertain all this nonsense. However, luckily this room is well maintained & clean..

GGuest UserThe stay location was okay, but there were several issues that affected our experience. The lift access card was very insensitive, and we had to ”gosok-gosok” it repeatedly just to get it to work — even the staff acknowledged this workaround.
The bathroom flooded whenever we took a shower, and the water heater didn’t work even after leaving it on for over 30 minutes, as instructed. How it affects if bringing kids or elderly.
There was no air conditioning, only a fan. Also, the hanging bed lamp kept swinging and hitting the wall when the fan was on, creating an annoying noise.
We hope these issues can be improved for future guests.

AAnonymous UserCheck in took about 2 hours. Booked under Trip (3rd party) can’t check in using kiosk. I asked the officer and he gave me Q number for counter. Waited for 90 pax. When reach counter the lady mentioned need to pay RM15 for counter check in.She mentioned I supposed need to go to kiosk check in assistant. But the officer at the first place didn’t mention this. The instruction is very messy. Hope Genting can improve this and give a clearer instruction.
