This antiquated styled of setting is not my favourite, I wouldn’t go there if not recommended by my friends. It has too many glasses and mirrors that portray an insecure and horrible enemy for me, part in the night time.

Location is good, room is big, 20min walk to the art street & close to famous eating place like chulia st, famous Penang laksa & teksen restaurant. However I do not recommend this hotel because there’s a night club near by, starting 9.30pm the night club music is very very loud until 3am! Even was weekdays. And I couldn’t sleep, the hotel staff gave me ear plugs then only I can sleep but still super annoying!

Wonderful place, rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, the terrace with the pool was delightful and location was excellent. Staff was very nice and helpful. While there is no breakfast or dining option in the hotel itself, there are cafes close by. I recommend.

Great location! Lots of cafes and eateries nearby. Only setback is if you’re a light sleeper, you might have trouble sleeping from the live band and DJ set playing from Pokok (it’s more muffled bass noise).

The stay here really was a good surprise for my last trip. Choose the hotel because it is near to my dinner appointment, the room is very big and clean . Staffs are super friendly and most importantly, it is located in the Center of everything in Georgetown. Highly recommended!

Nice heritage hotel

Had a wonderful stay here. Very close to all the best cafes and bars. Friendly staff, spacious room, clean with good facilities. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful little hotel in the centre of everything! Lovely pool and just a short walk to love lane. Big rooms with tables to sit outside.
