Geraldton backpacker is a nice little historical building that has been repurposed for backpacker stay! The lady at the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The shared kitchen is big and well equipped for almost any cooking!

First time stays in the backpack hostel, the experience quite nice, the receptionist is an old couple, they are very nicely. The toilet is sharing one, but very clean.

It's OK, check-in went smoothly, it's a cost-effective accommodation in the area. Remember to check in before 7:30 pm, otherwise there will be no staff at the service desk to check you in.

The room is clean and tidy. It is an old house with a small balcony where you can enjoy the street view. Although the room is small, it is OK for one person to live in. There is a refrigerator, a kettle, a small TV, and a small table. The public bathroom is also kept very clean, and there is a super large kitchen. The only problem is that there is no air conditioning. The temperature is 35 during the day, and the room is a bit stuffy at night. On the second night, I didn't sleep much. The electric fan has 2 gears, either big or small, and I dare not sleep with the balcony door open. It's my first time staying in a youth hostel, and I'm not used to it. The attitude of the staff is super good. The girl at night and the big sister in the morning are very enthusiastic.

This place is horrible, party till 4am!!! Don't stay here! Run!!! Worst place I've ever stayed. Good location but terrible service

地理位置相當優越，早上起來，前面沙灘散步非常舒適，這個價格性價比很高，房間乾淨，用的杯子和洗手液OK，公共浴室非常乾淨，廚房設施完備，很乾凈，但都比較老舊，後面是個街區，因為週末，半夜摩託車聲，汽車報警，很吵，整體這個性價比OK！前面就有Dome早餐，7：45前隨意坐，之後都是預約，早餐那邊習慣是7：30以後！

可能去的時候是淡季，整體環境比較安靜舒適，公共區域乾淨衞生，各種設施也齊全，維護得不錯。如果路過小鎮，住一到兩晚，還是推薦的

Terrible accomodation was not told i was staying here. No ensuite in private rooms. Single bed very uncomfortable. Pippa the rudest person I've ever met as a mature aged lady did not appreciate it nor did my lovely people on the group.would ne er stay or recommend this to anyone.
Jawapan daripada Pihak Penginapan: I'm very disappointed with Anne's review. It is unfair for Anne to blame the hostel, or myself, for her choices. All guests and staff deserve to be treated with respect, no matter what their age. Anne was part of a tour group that were running very late in regards to their arrival time at the hostel. This meant there was no time for her to enjoy what the hostel or Geraldton has to offer. Anne was extremely aggressive and rude to myself and another guest. Anne booked a budget tour, which would have clearly listed the accommodation type throughout the trip. It is clear from Anne's review that she did not read any of the information she was sent in regards to the tour. I am not connected to the Tour company, so she should not be blaming me for anything she is not happy about. Anne thought it was acceptable to barge in and speak over me, making a number of demands when I was serving a guest. I mearly asked her to wait until I was free then I would be happy to attend to her. As soon as I was free, I happily attended to her and forgave her for her rudeness. The guest I was serving prior, however, was not impressed with Anne's behaviour. Anne also thought it was OK to breach our security. I make no apology for advising her that this was not acceptable behaviour. Our hostel is situated in the centre of the city walking distance to shops and restaurants. There are beautiful beaches at the back of the property and we are walking distace to 11 of Geraldton's fantastic attractions.

A very handy hostel with great views and location, super clean and tidy. I just needed a place to stay for a few nights, im glad i chose Geraldton Backpackers On The Foreshore. The manager Pippa is very kind and helpful, I look forward to staying again.

The room was clean but there was not much space for everyone to open their suitcases (as there were 7 people in the room). The wifi and the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen and bathrooms were nice. The rooms are upstairs and we had to carry our suitcase up steep steps. The floor is creaky and there are many house rules, but the owner was nice and explained everything thoroughly.

As you were part of the large Tour group you were in the 7 bed dorm room. There are 2 sets of stairs to access the first floor. The main stair case and the fire escape. You chose the fire escape which is steeper. Thank you for mentioning how nice our bathrooms and kitchen are. We hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future.
