Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Gent

Excellent hotel in a central location within Gent. Very friendly, helpful staff and good amenities including an outdoor pool, small indoor gym and sauna room which needs to be pre-booked. I felt breakfast was overpriced for what it was, I’d skip and eat out.

quite far from the train station but close to attractions. a rather old hotel. the door locks are the round shaped ones. the hot water supply of the shower was not quite steady. the room is quite small for europe i think. the plus side is they gave us the room well before the official check in time. we arrived at around 10:30 and they gave us the room right away. there is a free breakfast buffet as well (even my room choice is the most basic one).

Location is quite convenient for tram and walking to centre. Room and bathroom and TV size are a bit small, but they are clean. Daily room cleaning did a good job, and the receptionists are really helpful and friendly.

The room was fine. We needed extra bedding and 2 nice staff came immediately and made the extra bed for us. However! We arrived with a reservation confirmation of 2 adults 1 child. Their confirmation had 2 people therefore the room they had was too small. They did have another room for 3 they said we could have but it would be 30 euros extra. At the time we simply agreed and paid as there was a big queue behind us and the amount was small. Buttons seemed like a con to extract more money from us, it wasn't our mistake as we had confirmation for 3 people at the designated price. It's a shame as I really liked Ghent and will certainly return but there are other hotels to choose from.

鄰近Ghent火車站、電車、Flibco及巴士站，離Ghent著名景點大概20-30min腳程。酒店雖然小，但的房間面積非常大，有大玻璃窗，設備齊全，每天有清潔服務，還有免費補充玻璃瓶裝飲用水（圖中小枱上面）。可行李寄存。最驚喜的是早餐（自助餐），十分多元化和非常美味，性價比高，最理想是留點時間慢慢細嚐，早餐是這個trip最滿意的一次。 整體來說，很滿意的入住體驗。

Very nice, small hotel with friendly staff. Great hotel in a great location! I was situated in the front of the hotel facing the street with beautiful views of Gent’s skyline. Lots of cafes and restaurants just downstairs and in walking distance. There was also a lot of great shopping nearby. Standard retail that you could find in most cities and also interesting shops with handmade and unique products. Also walking distance to all the sights you want to see. Although the room is small, it was comfy.

This hotel always make me fell comportable and high quality. Good place and clean good breakfast good.

We discovered bed bugs on the sheets in room 33. The hotel staff moved us to another room, but this room (50) also showed signs of bed bugs with blood stains on the sheets, and it was not adequately cleaned. Therefore we were forced to find alternative accommodation at 3am. They only offered a one night refund out of three, which was unacceptable given the severity of the situation. The handling of this situation by the manager Pascal De Gryse and receptionist Neel was beyond poor, they did not seem to care at all or take any responsibility for this situation. I would not recommend staying at this hotel due to the serious health and safety issues and the inadequate response from the management.
