Hotel 3 Bintang di Gili Trawangan

My 2nd stay here. Post earthquake and now post covid. They've been through a lot. Lovely place but many signs of lack of money. Some aircons not working, main fridge in the kitchen/dining area not working. Another fridge in one room missing. Water in one room worked when it felt like it. Staff did a wonderful job trying to run between the other property they managed and fixed or moved us to rooms that worked. Pool is really nice. We did have a great time. I just hope they get a cash flow to make this place as good as it used to be.

Really nice place to visit and learn to dive, have almost all services (except gym but no needed if you want to swim)

Popular points of interest near Villa Pine Tree include South East Beach, Turtle Conservation Gili Trawangan and Gili Trawangan Harbour.

The tents are amazing, lovely spacious room with a comfy bed & misquote net. Fabulous outside bathroom. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast was great, pre booked the day before. It is definitely a horse & cart ride from the port about 15 minutes which will cost 100-150K, well worth the money. The path is dusty to the seafront but only a 2 minute walk. Bikes are available at a small cost but good standard. Quiet side of the island & great for sunsets. We'll worth it if you are looking for something a bit quirky.

Fantastic service from Putu the manager and the team. We arrived and was greeted warmly then we were ushered to a smooth check in. Very accommodating and friendly management to cater to our enquiries even before we arrived. We rented bicycles from the hotel throughout our stay there to go around the island. Good condition bike and they clean our bike after every night. Room is spacious. Bathroom is squeaky clean. Pool is directly outside the room. On our first night, the team decorated our room to welcome us the second time after the whole day out. They have fire show 2x a week too. Highly recommended.

If you're an Indian traveling to Gili avoid this hotel at any cost. They will give you the worst rooms where doors won't lock, AC won't work and they won't fix it no matter how many times you ask them. The staff will behave rudely to you and treat white people nicely even when you are giving them same amount of money. When you want to reach your ferry on time to leave from Gili, no matter how many times you ask them they won't help you. The horse carts won't come because they will tell you only hotel can call us. Even if you make them talk to the receptionist they will ask them to not come. They will make your life a living hell just because of your skin color but they will bend over backwards for the white person next to you. So please avoid this hotel at any cost. Had the worst travel experience of my life with this ****** hotel.

Gili Tenda Resort was great, the staff there are so welcoming and helpful. You have to get a horse and carriage to the property if you have a lot of luggage however once you’re there you’re within walking distance from everything as the island is very small. You can hire bikes from the property which is what we did and it’s about 55000 for one day which is 24 hours. You can also hire snorkel stuff from them too. My room was very clean as was the rest of the property. Can’t fault anything.

We had an amazing stay here! The staff were so accommodating, and went above and beyond at every opportunity to help us out! Would highly recommend staying at Gili Turtle Beach Resort! The live music in the restaurant was awesome too! Amazing atmosphere!!

My friend and myself stayed in this resort in December 2022. For the most part we had the place to ourselves as Gili Trawangan is struggling to attract tourists. Little wonder as it’s a bit of a nightmare to get to Lombok at present. Garuda Indonesia are not currently operating their direct flight from Bali and the fast boats can be cancelled due to bad weather with no notice. Our trip back to Bali was cancelled and it took us 17 hours on slow boats, buses and the like to get from Gili Trawangan back to Bali. The stuff of nightmares. Back to Mala Garden. The Manager is affable and does a competent job. He has great people supporting him, namely a delightful lady named Angun and a delightful bar tender named Jackson. The young lads who perform waiting and other menial tasks are also delightful. The resort is not in pristine condition, it is located on a tiny, isolated island so it would be a mighty extreme expectation that it would always be faultless. However, mention any issues to any of the senior staff and they attend to concerns very quickly. My friend and I loved our stay at Mala Garden. It’s a gem with flaws, but embrace the minor faults and you will love your time at this resort. I’ve stayed at 4 different places on Gili T over the years and Mala Garden is my firm favourite. Outstanding staff, massive rooms, great facilities and it’s located on the quiet, sunset side of the island. What more could a reasonable tourist want? I rate it Ten out of Ten!

We had the most amazing stay at Gili Breeze! Couldn’t fault the stay! The bungalows were stunning as well as the pool and dining area, but the staff were incredible, so so lovely and helped with everything we needed. The whole experience was a 10/10 and would recommend to anyone going to Gili T, particularly for the price it was amazing!
