Excellent newly opened hotel! Very comfortable bed and modern interior. I also enjoyed the Scandinavian style breakfast.

Fabulous hotel in a great central location in the city. Room with king size was spacious and beautifully designed. Luxurious bed linen and comfortable chairs. Breakfast offered an appropriate range of hot and cold foods, with coffee made to order.

The worst hotel to stay at in Gothenburg. Despite the wonderful people at the reception, the hotel is very dusty, and the service is very slow. We checked into a room with water leakage, so we asked to move to another room. The housekeeping took forever to fix the extra bed ( no bed sheets) I was at the reception while the receptionist was talking to the housekeeping, also begging her to fix our second room and explaining why. I asked for extra bed sheets and extra towels, which took almost 6 hours, so I went to the reception and picked them up myself. The receptionist was surprised that they were not delivered to our room. The breakfast is very poor. I am gluten-free, so there is no gluten-free bread. No clean breakfast items (see picture). The room was so dusty that you had to clean your clothes and items every day. Out of my above experience at your hotel, and with my 10 years in the hotel industry, neither myself nor my clients will step into your hotel again.

well organized, very clean hotel with a very nice architecture in the city center, near Gothenburg Central station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only can highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure purposes.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while, especially for the price which is excellent value for a hotel in the heart of the city. Very close to the airport bus (100m) and walking distance to everywhere downtown. The staff were all smiling and very helpful, and special mention to the excellent buffet breakfast. The room was a very good size, as was the bathroom. Fairly fast wifi, and loved the unusual set of dumbells in every room for a quick workout!! Will definitely stay here again, and highly recommend.

Scandic Europa is the perfect location to stop if you ate going to a concert at the Ullevi stadium. Located right by the main station. The rooms were adequate and the breakfast excellent. We did have a couple of issues that were immediately sorted out so nothing negative to say. We left very early in the morning, Uber was on time and we were provided with breakfast boxes. Overall a very good choice.

It’s very rare you find a hotel that checks all the boxes but this is it for me. Had the friendliest welcome when arriving at a late hour. The check in was quick, easy and I was in my room in no time. I’d forgotten adapters for my electrical items, the hotel was like no problem. Turns out the rooms have USB and USB-C plugs in the rooms so was covered. Moving onto the room. I had the best sleep ever. Perfect climate control. Wonderful views to wake up to and just every little detail was just amazing. After a delicious breakfast (lots of choice, Swedish and international cuisine), I explored the hotel further, the gym looks really good (I didn’t use it… just told myself I should have) and they also had a sauna. Moving outside, the location. The freshest air ever (it was nice to breath there) and literally just over the water from the city centre. If you like to walk, it’s perfectly acceptable however as I travelled with people who don’t like to walk, the hotel directed us to a bus stop one minute away. Literally two stops later, you’re in the centre. The hotel pointed out the work being done on the water front. There’ll soon be the option of getting back and forth that way. Finally, the team. It’s clear that this hotel clearly has the customers at the heart of what they do. Everyone I spoke to was warm, friendly and open to sharing hints and tips to make our stay in Gothenburg magical. And it was… EVERYONE needs to visit this wonderful city. I’m already planning my next trip and I will definitely stay again at this hotel.

My husband and I had a wonderful 15 night stay here over the holiday break in Dec/Jan. The staff were all so kind and made our time in Göteburg feel like home. Room - We booked a Deluxe Double Room to have an outside window (some rooms are off the interior atrium so have limited natural light). Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and soap provided were all high quality. Room had an iron, hair dryer, coffee (instant), tea, and we requested kitchen supplies (that we barely used because the hotel supplies so much food). We requested cleaning every 4 days through the front desk on the day before each time. We exchanged towels inbetween cleanings with housekeeping. Food - Coffee, tea, and water were always available and there is a bar beside the front desk to buy other drinks. Fika was a different sweet baked good each day. Breakfast had a cold section (croissants, bread, yogurt, cheese, deli meats, cereal, fruit), and a hot section (scrambled eggs, beans,  sausage, meatballs, bacon, hard boiled eggs, sometimes potatoes). Also lactose-free/ oat yogurt and milk and gluten free crackers, and biscuits. For dinner, there was one hot main, a soup, bread, and some cold salads. Vegetarian meals could be requested. Cold dishes rotated - couscous salad, pasta salad, olives, iceberg salad, Greek salad, corn and beans, cold roasted vegetables, etc.. Buffets were unlimited. Location - 5 minute walk to Central Station and a full grocery store next door. Other - Self servic laundry was convenient - just book a 2 hour slot with the front desk. There are 2 washers and dryers and only one guest has the laundry key at a time. You provide your own soap and dryer sheets. There was also a washing/dry cleaning service through the hotel, though we didn't use it. There was a gym in the building that guests have access to. Staff - Every staff member we came in contact with was so nice. The front desk staff were helpful and quick with requests like cleaning, laundry access, extra towels, and check-in (we actually had three different bookings over our stay and the reception staff made sure we kept the same room and made switching out keys and paying very convenient). The people who work in the food area are the most hard working and efficient I've seen in that kind of environment. They replaced food that was low in the buffet and cleaned tables quickly so that new people could sit down. As other reviewers have said, some of the spaces (corridors in particular) are outdated and the rooms are more apartment style than hotel but we wouldn't pay any extra to change those things. We found this hotel to be incredibly high value and would love to return.

This was good hotel, located in the center of Gothenborg where you have good access to almost everything. It was a beautiful hotel with a good interior design. It was clean enough. As a not good point, we can say they don't put slipperies in the rooms that is a little annoying. Breakfast was perfect with a very good anf acceptable range of foods and drinks. Parking cost is too much here. It's almost 400 SEK per each day, buy you still have this alternative that park your car in some public parkings, with 10 minutes walking to the hotel and much lower cost.
