Fine og nye husbåter som har alt man trenger. Eneste minus er at det ligger litt usentralt og at det ikke går buss i helgen.

I would like to share my experience with this hotel and offer some suggestions for improvement. Firstly, the location seemed less appealing, situated in an area that felt run-down, reminiscent of a warehouse district. My stay was further marred when the power went out around 10 p.m. Unfortunately, despite my attempts to reset the fuse panel, the issue persisted. This power outage rendered the toilet unusable, and regrettably, the hotel staff was unavailable to assist or respond to messages. Left with no other option, I had to seek alternative accommodation. I have attached a photo of the boat house during the power outage for reference. Additionally, it's worth noting that there was a noticeable safety concern with a significant hole in front of the door. In conclusion, I would like to suggest improvements to this establishment. It did not meet my expectations. Note - As a follow-up, I filed a refund request to ***********, who contacted them and got no response. If you want to book this hotel, please reference my experience and think twice.

We weren't sure when we arrived to find ourselves in the middle of an industrial estate but once we'd settled in we really enjoyed our stay. It's about a 10 min walk to the tram - get yourself a day pass as it makes life so much easier and it even includes the ferries to the archipelago. The boat was comfortable and well equipped. We slept very well.

Well appointed boat with all the facilities you need. Comfortable and relaxing for the most part. We stayed for 2 nights. Although there is a folder in the living room reminding guests that "quiet time" is from 10pm to 6am, that didn't stop a group in a nearby houseboat deciding to shout at each other at 1am in the morning. You need to be aware that if you think these house boats are in an attractive marina with nearby cafes and restaurants, you'd be wrong. It is actually in an industrial area that you wouldn't imagine to find it in. That being said, this was an excellent base for visiting Gothenburg and nearby attractions. The bus and tram network is fantastic, with a bus stop a few hundred meters away.

The property was nice and clean. However, check in experience was not pleasant. It said check in time is 4pm but it did not say you can ONLY check out at 4pm! It didn’t ask guests about the check in time. When I was there earlier, no one was there to open the gate. Only when I called the resort, a guy came back and told me he could only stay for 10 mins to check me in. Arrangement could be much better.

The properties are located close to commercial buildings / ship yard, so noise is to be expected. We had this 07:00 - 18:00. It personally did not bother me. LaMare houseboats are cosy, with the main enterance (on our houseboat) going through the one Bedroom. The small kitchen onboard met our needs, and had all the required utensils (although a tea pot would have been nice)

Great property, a bit out of town, but worth the walk. There was heavy snow during our visit, but the houseboat was very warm and cosy, and well equipped. Staff were very helpful and welcoming, and even gave us a lift to the supermarket and waited to take us back so we could stock up on supplies. Looks like a great place to be in the summer too. Would definitely recommend if you want something a bit different to a hotel.

Unique location close to the city center. Great for kids and adults. Much more fun than staying at a traditional hotel.

Séjour insolite en "home-boat ". Expérience sympa dans ces bateaux parfaitement rénovés , propres, fonctionnels, avec tout le confort auquel nous aspirons, excellente literie, belles terrasses, très sympa ! Le plus : avons profité d'une détente sauna + jacuzzi sur les pontons , très agréable. Je recommande cette Halte pour une "Marina expérience ". Merci à Lutz et son équipe
