What a great place to stay,just out of city centre but easy access in to town with a punctual and efficient tram and bus network. Originally booked the basic room (cheapest) upgraded when I got there and well worth the little extra with a balcony also. The staff were helpful and friendly and I look forward to returning pretty soon...

This hotel is perfect for those arriving by train as right across the road from the main station, probably the closest hotel. Several places to eat and drink if arriving late as I was, though it's a decent walk to all the main sites, prob 1.5 km, but as it's so close to the station there are multiple tram and bus options. Didn't have breakfast there as was 19 EUR which is very expensive for a buffet breakfast. Rooms were nice and modern, although something very weird. My bed was vibrating, the same as you experience when there is music with a heavy bass underneath you. Fortunately there was another single bed in the room so I swapped and all was fine. I still can't explain it :) But would highly recommend if coming by train, especially when there for 24 hrs like I was, but if staying several days you may want to stay somewhere closer to the old town.

The hotel is brand new, opened in June this year. Our room was small but very nicely designed. It smelt good as we entered. With its wooden floors and furniture, it had a strong Scandinavian feel to it. Everything is new, sleek and modern. We slept very well and, given its location on a busy street and across from the railway station, remarkably quiet. The whole hotel is an oasis of calm. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Unfortunately though, our experience at this otherwise excellent hotel was affected by our first few minutes there. We didn’t receive the best welcome: the receptionist was fully focused on someone behind us making a phone call rather than on what we were saying. She did not take any notice of us at all. We were already a little annoyed that the room we had booked the night before was, when we checked the room facilities online, cheaper on the day we checked in. When I asked her whether I could pay immediately rather than in the morning, as we wanted to get away early, she said yes, but it would “take a while”. It wasn’t until later that I realised I had no evidence that I’d paid, so had to ask her for a receipt. She didn’t give us any information about breakfast times, WiFi codes etc but I found that information on the tv screen in our room. Not too professional. Her colleagues on reception when we checked out were super professional and friendly though. First impressions count and if our first impressions had been better, I would have been more than happy to give this hotel the highest rating. We would still happily return though.

I do not recommend staying at the B&B Hotel - Graz Hbf -- details are below, but to sum it up, the condition of the hotel room was not appropriate for guests and we should not have been booked, and nothing was done to resolve the horrible smell in the room. My family and I booked two rooms for a weekend in July to stay in Graz to attend the Austrian Grand Prix, and have a hotel in close proximity to the train station. Because there were 4 people in our group, we needed to book two rooms. We were traveling with our young children so we requested rooms near to each other and were assigned rooms next door to each other. The smell and odor in one of the rooms that I was staying in with one of my children was horrible. It was coming from the shower drain, like something was rotting or clogged in there. It smelled as though someone vomited or put something decaying in the shower drain, along with cigarette smoke. It made the entire room smell disgusting. I spoke to the front desk attendant on Saturday morning and was told housekeeping would attend to it immediately. When we returned Saturday evening after being away all day, the smell was still overpowering. I was told the hotel was full and nothing could be done for us. I had the nighttime desk attendant come up to smell the room. I again spoke to the front desk attendant on Sunday morning and was told the room had been checked but nothing could be done. I asked her to please go into the room to understand the terrible smell and to move our room for Sunday night. We were moved to another room that evening since there were rooms available then. Even though it was not very warm outside, both rooms were also very warm, the air conditioning not appearing to be working. The windows did not have screens on them, so if we opened them to try to cool off the rooms (and also to air out the smell in the one room), the room would fill with moths. The condition of the one room was not appropriate for a guest to stay in, and it was an even bigger problem that no one could do anything to fix it. The multiple people at the hotel desk that we spoke with said nothing could be done because it was a weekend and the hotel was full on the Saturday evening. We were unable to sleep because the rooms were so warm and the smell in the one room made us feel ill. They could not provide a cot or roll-away so that all of us could stay in one room instead. I was later told by the hotel management: ”On Saturday morning the room was immediately checked after you spoke with the front deck, and the shower drain was opened and deeply cleaned. We just found out later that it didn't help, as it should, because a brand new part of the drain was needed.” Clearly from this message, there was a serious issue with the plumbing in the room. The condition of the room was not appropriate for guests to stay in it, and we should not have been placed there. Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dall'opera. Splendido albergo, moderno e molto urban, con interni curati, colori caldi, staff gentile. Sono arrivato molto presto la mattina e mi hanno subito assegnato una stanza, senza sovrapprezzo. Attaccato alla reception si trova un bar con un ampia scelta di gin di tutti i paesi dove questa catena di alberghi è presente. La mia camera dava sulla piazza principale, di per sé assai trafficata, ma l'isolazione delle finestre è ottima e non si sente quasi niente. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo (ho pagato 120 euro). L'unico neo: la camera era piuttosto piccola. Ma pur sempre grande quanto basta

The staff at this hotel is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the location is not far from the old town area. It's a great choice for staying in Graz! In addition, the breakfast ingredients are carefully selected and worth trying!

The hotel looks new. Designed in minimalist way, cutting down costs while serving the essentials. A hostel, effectively. Located over 15 minutes away by car from the city centre, the hotel offers free carpark to attract residents. Public transport is less reliable. Breakfast is cheap (€10.5), choice is understandably little. In short, it is quiet, clean and simple.

Modernes, helles sauberes und schön eingerichtetes Doppelzimmer mit großem Balkon. Nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. Guter Begrüßungsgin und schmackhaftes Frühstücksbuffet. Nichts zu beanstanden, gerne wieder.

Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass manche Flüge entweder recht früh oder recht spät gehen war es doch ratsam sich ein Hotel am Flughafen zu suchen. Dabei war es einem wichtig, dass die Rezeption speziell abends lang offen hat um bei den ersten Müdigkeitserscheinungen nicht beim Eintippen von Codes an nächtlichen Türöffnern zu verzweifeln. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber sehr sauber und (dem Flughafen zugewandt) an die vorbei fahrenden Züge gewöhnt man sich schnell. Die andere Zimmerflucht ist dagegen sehr ruhig. Überrascht hat uns ALEXA; die auf Anhieb funktioniert und (wer noch keine hat) gut zum austesten war. Eine weitere Überraschung war das Frühstück - ab 6h30 - was sehr, sehr reichhaltig war und damit ist dieses Hotel als recht preisgünstig. Zu Fuss erreicht man den Flughafen in 10 bis 13 Min., wobei der Weg größtenteils wettergeschützt ist. Auch vor Sonne!

This hotel is easy to get to and it only 10 mins drive to the airport. There is parking around the hotel and I was charged €8 to park overnight. I didn’t see any options for a hotel bus shuttle and in a previous stay I paid €20 for a taxi to/from the hotel My room was quite big with lots of room. The room looks updated and modern and there was a comfortable king bed, flat screen TV (hardly any English speaking channels) work table, lounge chair and side table to relax in. The room had air conditioning with an old thermostat, you could hear the air conditioning running but even if it was on for a long time I didn’t feel the room getting any cooler. In fact I had to open the window in the evening to cool the room down, I was facing the busy motorway so there was a lot of road noise from the open window. The bathroom was a good size, with room to put toiletries at the sink and a good shower Wifi was available throughout the hotel and worked fine. The hotel does have a fitness room but I didn’t use it. The hotel does have a small mini market at reception that you can buy snacks. There is a bar and restaurant at the hotel I only stayed one night and the restaurant was only doing a buffet dinner at that time. I arrived to eat barely 20 minutes after the restaurant opened, but the food presented looked and tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours. The pork dish was oily, overcooked and chewy, the chips were a mixture of undercooked and overcooked and barely warm, the bread felt and tasted a couple of days old, the pasta was stodgy and the sauce was congealed. The salad, fruit and dessert options were fresh, but the selection was small. For the price of €20 I was disappointed I also had breakfast the next morning, it was €16, and again the food wasn’t that tasty and there was a limited selection Overall this hotel is clean comfortable hotel if you are staying before a flight, and I would stay here again, although I would be eating elsewhere
