If you stay here, choose the wrap-around panoramic views and balcony. The views are stunning and the ability to sit on the balcony and look over the town and the Alps is an experience. Be warned, though, that the hotel is an uphill walk from the train station and main part of town. They offer a shuttle to the train station but I'm not sure when that is available. Unfortunately, while we paid for the breakfast, our early travels each day prevented us from taking advantage of the meal. The dinner menu is limited but there is a beautiful patio to sit on for drinks and snacks.

Great hotel to stay, the breakfast was amazing and the staff was beyond friendly.
But even without that, the Mountain View is enough to stay here, you will wake up with the most amazing views you can think off.

We stayed here for a week or so during a trip to Switzerland in September. We had a first class experience. The hotel is well located with incredible views and is a great base to hike from. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfasts were good and the hotel is close enough to Wengen to allow for easy access to restaurants for dinner.

We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are a bit small for 2 adult and 1 child, but its ok. Breakfast is open buffet and delicious. 5 minutes away by walking to the lift. First day they take you from the train station, its not easy to go there with luggages.

This was like staying at your grandma’s chalet.
PRO’S Clean, functional, basic, and comfy beds
CONS: Out dated, tired looking facility and sad appearance to the internal/external grounds.
They have a wonderful view. Wish they would invest in outdoor furniture, a few furs/blankets and candles to create an inviting space.
As an interior designer of mountain homes, this place could be darling and change the guest experience to a more positive one.

Best hotel we have ever stayed in! We stayed here over Christmas Eve and Christmas night and couldn’t ask for anything more perfect! The Mountain View balcony room is definitely worth it, the beds are so comfy and loved the breakfast! The lady who was topping the breakfast up was really nice as were all the staff! I hope we get to stay again soon! 😊

A friendly and helpful staff, especially at reception. As soon as we arrived in Wengen we phoned the hotel and they collected us in their vehicle at the station and took us to the hotel. Spectacular views from the bedroom with a balcony. Very generous buffet breakfasts. We spent a lovely week in the hotel and would certainly return again.

Great views, good beds, fine staff and excellent connections to the top. We really enjoyed our three night stay and would do it all again. There's plenty to do in and around Wengen. It's really quite amazing. The trip to Jungfraujoch was expensive but worth it. Tom Spahr
