Have stayed here several times before , feels like home Has always been a great experience and wonderful time Rooms are large and comfortable, each one has it’s own character We had a wonderful diner in restaurant Nassau Will definitely stay here next time and recommend it to everyone

My husband and I stayed in this hotel, located in the center of Groningen. The historic building and gardens are gorgeous, even the in winter. The room was cozy, the bed was super comfortable with fresh high quality linens. The restaurant is beautiful, too. We had a delicious meal there. The valet parking was super convenient. And when we got our car back they had placed two mineral water bottles and mints, in our car, for our trip back home. We’ll be definitely going back.

Incredible in all respects, full stop. Just book the room and spend your time planning the rest of your stay in this amazing / walkable little Amsterdam city. Read any of the other more detailed reviews on this property if you have have time to kill, but well traveled wife and I could not have been more satisfied.

A warm and friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, comfort and delight with gourmet dining, what else can one ask for? It was our second time at the Prinsenhof and will not be our last We will be happy to return to celebrate Happy 2024

This is a lovely hotel, close to the center of Groningen. The staff was very helpful with maps and directions to the museum, local shops and our luggage. We enjoyed their breakfasts, and several lunches. We were anxious to try the local specialty, mustard soup, which was on the menu and was wonderful. The area surrounding the hotel has green spaces. If I go again, i will print out a map on how to get there. Google maps was rarher confusing as we got close to the hotel.

Absolutely impeccable in every detail. Mostly remarkable by the people working there and adding smile and soft personal touch to your stay. Very helpful, very understanding and attentive. Not our first time and definitely not last, restaurant is also great.

The hotel is located on very short walking distance of the central square of Groningen. Also, museums, shops, restaurants and theatres are within short walking distance.
The staff is professional and helpful. We had a suite. It was clean and well decorated.
There is only one, but important, remark to be made. Although the staff during breakfast was very kind and giving perfect service, we were disappointed about the breakfast. The hotel chooses to serve a la carte in stead of a buffet. Which is fine, as long as the hotel provides a menu. Now we just had to mention some items and the rest was improvised by the staff. There was no menu to choose from. This reduced the hotel to a kind of Bed & Breakfast. If you give a breakfast a la carte you should at least give a proper menu. For us this is a reason not to return.
The four stars for staff and service is due to the breakfast and not due to the staff. They should have five stars.

We’ve stayed in Prinsenhof multiple times. A very nice hotel. Nice design, lovely view over the garden this time. Couple of small ******* with shower control not being 100%, and water scalding if you’re not careful

This is a really wonderful boutique hotel in the centre of Groningen. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a special dietary requirement and they took great care to ensure everything was prepared as requested. The room was very clean and well presented. Food is excellent and reasonably priced
