This hotel is quite new and it shows – the renovation standard is high. Nice ambience. Our Deluxe room we had featured an en-suite bathtub which gave the room a very unique feel. The hotel staff is helpful and polite. Good and varied breakfast. A couple of things: - A bottle labelled ”body lotion” turned out to contain shower gel. So when I applied it I had to take shower again. I guess, someone on the refill-duty didn't pay attention, hehe. - We stayed as a family of three – however, initially we only got one big towel. Both of the things mentioned above were resolved, but noting them down here for the hotel's improvement. Additionally the hotel is located ”in the middle of it all” and most of the attractions can be easily reached on foot. Very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would very much like to visit again.

Na een lange lectrische autorit vanuit Noord-Brabnt van 3 uur, kwamen we aan in Groningen. De doelen is een leuk hotel midden in het centrum van Groningen. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze suite was ruim en had een prachtig bad en een sauna. Een fijn bed en een leuk setje fauteuils complimenteerde het geheel. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en de ruimte met de openhaard is gezellig. Het hitel ziet er wel her en der wat ouder uit maar dit is niet storend. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf van 2 nachten. We bedanken dan ook iedereen die huieraan heeft meegedragen. We lagen aan de achterzijde en hebben totaal geen overlast gehad van het uitgaanspubliek. Kortom een echte aanrader in Groningen. De plek is ideaal voor een gezellig weekendje! 😀

Parking ondergronds dichtbij het hotel, vriendelijke ontvangst en uitleg over het ontbijt de volgende ochtend en hoe de bar werkt. Dicht bij het stadcentrum gelegen waardoor je niet ver moet wandelen om lekker te kunnen gaan eten en drinken zonder de wagen te moeten nemen. 's avonds kan je gezellig nog aan de bar zitten en aan de open haard. Slaapkamers zijn heel proper en netjes opgedekt. Ontbijt is geen luxe hotel ontbijtbuffet maar ik denk niet dat je met honger van tafel gaat zelfs al ben je kieskeurig, ik heb slechter meegemaakt. Maar hun ontbijt is zeker verzorgt en vers. Het uitchecken ging ook heel vlotjes en vriendelijk. kortom een aanrader voor te verblijven.

La personnel est poli et très discret. Deux petits bémol : un bruit très fort pendant la nuit (qui venait des restaurants à proximité) et j'ai pas eu de l'eau chaude pour le douche, le matin...

This Hotel is the best. Great location, walking distance to everything. The Hotel staff is all so friendly and kind. Hotel staff speaks English which was very helpful. Staff was willing to help us with directions and transit and any other questions or concerns we had. The Breakfast is phenomenal. Choices of pastries cereal, donuts, assorted meats and cheeses, assorted breads, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, yogurt and every kind of topping imaginable, coffee, tea, juices, etc, etc, Large area to enjoy breakfast.

Excellent stay. Clean room with kingsize bed; we had a room with a beautiful view on the city. Breakfast (buffet) excellent! The only downside is the lack of dining options (only 3). Fish and chips was of a very low quality and the mixed salad to go with the sirloin steak (asked for medium rare and proved to be rare) was icecold and had no taste whatsoever. In short: an excellent hotel, but please find another place to have your dinner!
