Hotel terbaik di Grundarfjordur

We only stayed here one night as we were just travelling the Snaefelssness penninsula. Its right near Kirkjufell. Close to town so easy to get dinner. Really a very nice clean, modern room. Full kitchen. If I lived in Iceland I would escape there for the weekend.

我和我老婆入住的是在2樓的房間，滿大間的，還有一個類似客廳的隔間，並且那張沙發是沙發床，所以如果有3-4人也沒問題；從窗戶外可以直接看到教堂。 室內是完全拖鞋的，很乾淨！ 1樓的廚房有完整的烤箱、瓦斯爐等廚具設備可以使用！ 附近有停車場，停車也很方便。

是獨棟的小房子，周圍都是雪很美。 房間裏設施很齊全，但是做飯油煙味會有點大。 晚上大風呼呼的會很吵，略有不足。

Wonderful hotel, deserving of 5 stars. We stayed for one night in the upstairs large suite. The room was absolutely stunning. We had windows on three sides, with views of the mountains, river, and the Budakirkja (quite well known little black) church. The entire hotel was recently renovated and expanded and they did a magnificent job. I understand they are also applying for a star upgrade (currently 3 stars), which should be easy - it is beautiful. We were warmly greeted at the front desk and the service was superb throughout our visit. It is remote, so the only dining option is in their restaurant. The dinner menu had a small, but nice selection of options and was very good. We enjoyed the seafood soup to start and the vegetable and ribeye entrees. Breakfast buffet had many options and was very good. The road to the hotel is shared with the nearby Budakirkja church, so it can get a little busy (the church is on large tour bus stops), but it calms down at 5pm. The hotel is not affiliated with the church, and I am told they are working on finding a solution to make it a little quieter for the hotel guests. I am also told they are working on some of the not-as-attractive views (I.e. garbage cans) from some of the rooms, so maybe even by now, that is taken care of. One of our favorite properties on our trip and couldn’t recommend it more!

A lovely little hotel! Don’t let the approach fool you - it doesn’t look much from the outside but it really is lovely. The room we had was spacious and clean with a gorgeous view of the the mountain and the beach. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. There isn’t anywhere else to go and eat so either plan accordingly or have the buffet at the restaurant - it’s expensive but as a one off it was worth it! The staff were incredibly helpful too - we’d been having some issues with our car and they were more than willing to help us out! Make sure you take a visit down the road to see the seals!
