My wife and I were on business in Guadalajara and I try to stay at Marriott properties when I can. I have to say that this JW Marriott is one of the best that I have been to over the last 20 years of business travel. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels so I am a very picky traveler. The staff was warm and very responsive. The facility was clean and well maintained. The services were perfect for the location and the type of travel that I was doing. Overall, I would recommend this property to US business travelers looking for a high quality experience when in Guadalajara.

Lovely old hotel. The rooms have old world charm and decor. Nice linens and comfortable beds. Well appointed bathrooms with everything you could imagine you'll need, including Ferragamo toiletries, razors, robes and slippers, etc. I was most impressed with the hotel staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I received special care from Jaimie the concierge and Nancy at the front desk. The location is far away from the attractions and there is not much in walking distance, so prepare to taxi it. Taxis are very reasonable so it's not an issue. The hotel restaurant food was good with a decedent selection of items. Be aware that English is not widely spoken by everyone, so you might have to wait for someone to assist if you have questions. On a side note, I found that English is not as widespread in Guadalajara as in most places I've been in Mexico. It's probably because it's not exactly a popular tourist destination so there's little need to have it. On the plus side this means Guadalajara has held onto the culture very well. No pandering to foreigners. Back to the restaurant, my one complaint was a waiter there on 2 nights was sick. I was very uncomfortable having him serve me. I regret not mentioning it to management. He should not have been permitted to work until he was well. I asked him to keep his distance from me and I didn't use the pen he gave me to sign the check. He seem to take it well but it never should have happened. i did find that a lot of people are wearing masks in general there. Not the hotel staff but local people. It was good to see. The hotel grounds are lovely, the pool was in the shade most of the time and I think the lounge chair area needs more attention. The cushions had bird poop all over them and were very dirty. There are a lot of pigeons on the property too. I think it's tough to keep birds away but I did witness them eating from the breakfast buffet table. Maybe a special person should be present to shoo them away? I didn't see the gym but I'm told they do have one . All in all it was a good stay there.

Di samping itu, kawasan ini adalah tempat yang baik antara pelbagai tempat di bandar. Terdapat banyak kafe, bar dan restoran berdekatan. Saya rasa ini adalah menu terbaik. Kakitangannya sangat ramah, sopan dan bersedia memberi saya sokongan aduan yang sifar. Secara peribadi, saya masih menyarankan untuk menyimpan beberapa pendapat, biarkan mereka menyempurnakan perincian kualiti yang ingin mereka terbitkan, atau semestinya mesti mengurangkan harga beberapa profesion untuk membuktikan nilai / kualitinya.

Bad experience from the get go, there is nobody to tell you the way from the parking to the lobby. The hotel only has 2 elevators and 1 was out of service, as I finished check in, the only working elevator got stuck, so they took to the basement to the service elevator that took forever to get us to the room. The worst part is that at 3:20 in the morning the fire alarm went off they said that it was in the offices section (the hotel is part of a big office bulding )and they were calling the administration to shut it off, this went until 6:30, just imagine trying to sleep with that noise. I will never come back to this property, if you can avoid it, do so. Michel de Botton

Hotel acogedor, agradable, no es lujoso, pero tiene precio accesible, todo el personal muy amable, bien ubicado en una buena zona, habitaciones limpias y camas cómodas. El único pero es a la llegada que no tiene mucho espacio para par**** y baj**** del auto en la entrada del hotel y está en una zona con mucho trafico en horas pico y no siempre está el vallet parking.

La ubicación es excelente, con muchos lugares para comer muy buenos caminando, una tienda de conveniencia a una calle, zona muy segura. Las instalaciones nuevas y de muy buen nivel, muy cómodas, limpias, buen diseño, silla de trabajo muy ergonómica. El staff siempre amable, su desayuno muy bueno e incluido con huevos, jugo fresco, fruta, chilaquiles, guarniciones, cereal, pan dulce, jamón y queso. Tiene estacionamiento gratuito techado en la misma plaza. Los únicos dos peros fueron que la alacena de los platos está muy alta y creo puede ser un riesgo para alguien de baja estatura y la plancha funciona pero no es la mejor que he encontrado en algún hotel. Sin duda regresaremos!
