Hotel berhampiran Carmen Garden, Guadalajara

I love Guadalajara, and I love it even more because of Olga Querida. From the moment of my arrival, I felt at home. Nearly every review mentions Lucy, she sets the bar for what a hotel host can be. The room exceeded my expectations, a comfortable clean bed, ceiling fan, and as much hot water as you want (just follow Lucy's clear instructions). With a room at the interior of the building, it was perfect silence in the night. There is included breakfast as well as a welcome to use the fridge and the kitchen. Drinking water is provided and there's always a morning newspaper in the lobby. The location is perfect for me, close to all the central tourist sites, great cafes and restaurants. In case you've never been to GDL, the centro historico and all the colonias to the west are considered to be very safe. I was perfectly comfortable as a woman traveling alone. If you get the chance to be in Guadalajara on Sunday, do it! They close down the main streets for the recreation and health of the residents from 8-2 and is is super cool. Bicycles, rollerbladers, skateboarders, barbie jeeps and more rule the streets and the parks are filled with people smiling, socializing, playing volleyball, chess, ping-pong, with aerial silks in a lovely tree in the park, it's alive with an unmatched spirit of commradarie. The beautiful heart of México breaks my heart every day so that it can grow bigger and bigger. And the food - people use words like life changing and transformative to describe meals here and its justified. If you are vegan like me, there are so many great places within 5 to 25 minutes walk. Art, culture, and food are within easy reach plus efficient public transit, ubers are always close, too. Have a great trip! Thank you, Lucy!!

Desde el primer y hasta el último momento el personal demostró la mejor actitud, si el hotel no tenía algo a su alcance los chicos de bellboy iban a mitad de la noche con toda la actitud del mundo y lo conseguían en la tienda. El Sr. Martín maletero gracias por su ayuda en la habitación y la srita Victoria de recepción muy agradecido con ella por apoyarme a realizar un pequeño detalle de cumpleaños a mi novia.

Muy buen hotel y excelente trato por parte del personal y más porque es un hotel pet friendly. Muy recomendable. Limpieza y seguridad. Buena comida, la cama super confortable. Muy buena atención hacia mi mascota, ya que cuentan con todo lo necesario para la mascota.

Es un hotel pequeño porque no tiene muchas habitaciones pero las habitaciones son espaciosas. El personal es sumamente amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Bonitos espacios comunes. Muy cerca de las mayores áreas turísticas. Puedes caminar a cuatro o cinco puntos De interés. A una cuadra puedes tomar el turibus. O una calandria para recorrer la ciudad. Nosotros no usamos la cafeteria del hotel pero vimos gente desayunando y olía rico. Puntos no muy buenos: la presión del agua podría ser mejor en la regadera. El Internet no es muy bueno aunque hay varias redes. Pero bueno, como anduvimos todo el Dia fuera la verdad no hizo falta.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was small, dark and depressing. It was an interior room with the window facing the lobby and not outside. The room smelled strong of mold and paint. The toilet Handel was broken. Most of the wood flood was warped and bubbled from clearly having been flooded at some point. I asked the front desk to change to an exterior room but they said none with a king sized bed were available. It was very noisy and every sound from the hallway echoed throughout out the room. I believe the was some sports team staying there and it was hard to sleep with kids running through the hall from room to room, shouting, and slamming doors constantly! I will not stay there again and recommend other nearby hotels that cost less!

La suite asignada estaba bastante amplia conteniendo todo lo necesario para un agradable descanso, mobiliario bien cuidado y cumpliendo todo lo que ofrece en su sitio web para esa habitación; internet inalámbrico incluido, aunque de mediana intensidad; amenidades muy completas y de buena calidad; la limpieza buena. Se solicitó servicio a la habitación el cual llegó en tiempo oportuno, a precios accesibles y de buen sazón, al igual que el desayuno buffet incluido en el paquete contratado. La atención del personal fue muy atento, tanto de recepción, botones, restaurant. Lo recomiendo.
