Hotels Near Guangzhou East Railway Station in Guangzhou

Hotel is near to train station and very convience for those who wants to catch an early train. there are alot of eatery around the hotel We have free breakfast at Zhen gong fu.

Booked my stay for 8 nights and below are my reviews. ISSUE 1 We were given the room facing the railway station and true to other traveller’s review, it IS NOISY! The constant honks of the vehicles can start at 7am till 12midnight everyday. When we entered the room on the first day, we tried to on the air-con for better ventilation but instead of cool air, warm air came out. Tried to adjust the settings but there was no change. Went to the reception to enquire but they mentioned they were not able to on the central aircon as it’s winter season and they would need to get management’s approval to activate it. what they could offer us was to open the one and only small window in our room. We told them we already opened it but it’s still warm so the other alternative is to provide us with standing fans which they did. Imagine us sleeping for 5 nights with the window open and the fans on, hearing the cars honks from 7am-12midnight. IT WAS TORTURE. Luckily on the 6th day, we enquired again and they finally activated the central air-con. Mind you the winter season in Guangzhou is totally different temperature than Shanghai or Beijing. There’s no need to off the central aircon at all. ISSUE 2 There were 20 floors in this hotel but there were only three lifts in this building. The lift space was small, could only fit 9 adults max in my opinion. The speed the lifts were going was also slow. Plus, you’re sharing the space with the service robots. So if you’re staying here, kindly cater extra waiting time. ISSUE 3 The rooms are not labeled non-smoking/ smoking room. So you could be staying in a non-smoking room but the room around you could be a smoking room. There were days where we could smell cigarette smoke in our toilet and unable to find the source. And there were days when we came out of our room to walk to the lift, the whole corridor smelled of cigarettes. I pity the cleaners having to use the humidifier everyday while cleaning the rooms. PLUS side - the room I booked was spacious. Could fit in four medium sized luggages with loads of space to walk around. - toilet was clean and spacious - there’s free bottled water provided and could ask for more - metro station is just below us. Conclusion, this would be my first and last visit to this hotel. Will probably stay somewhere away from the railway station in the future and will make sure to check with the hotels if their air-con is working. Not worth the price I’m paying for.

Found a big stained by the bed side, toilet was not been cleaned at all and water bottle provided so filthy. We complained and replaced with slightly better room but it still needed renovations throughout the bathroom and carpet also needed replacement as the whole place smells of damp and old carpets stinks.

Opposite to Guangzhou East Railway Station making this hotel a convenient location to high speed rail and the metro. Approximate 35mins drive from the airport by taxi/Didi (Chinese Uber). The room and bathroom looks clean. Quiet room despite being next to a busy road and railway station. Air con also works which was great during our stay in the October heat. Nice views over Guangzhou on the 7th and 15th floor where our rooms were located. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel and would highly recommend! Please note: The reception staff speaks mainly mandarin with one staff being able to speak some Cantonese. English is minimal so may need to have translation apps/a translator on hand! (Luckily we have our mum who can speak both mandarin and Cantonese)

Friendly hotel staff, though hotel facilities are not the best but staff are willing to provide help and prompt response through WeChat. Apartment located next to busy railway and mrt, nearest walking distance to mrt platform will be a 7 min slow walk. There’s an army training camp behind apt, just shut the window will block 90% of their shouting noise. Washing machine cum dryer and a small bottle of detergent are provided, but not a single bowl or plate in the cabinet. Be aware that the water heater to warm up 20 min before using, and another 20 min for next shower. A Family Mart just right below the apt, but not much varieties. Walk for another 3 min there is a 7-11. Mei Tuan delivery locker just below the apt, but I’ve never tried using Mei Tuan during our stay.

I have enjoyed a 5 Stars Hotel quality with very good worth of money. Spacious room , bathroom with electronic toilet tub. Plenty of food choice in the international buffet breakfast. Very close proximity to Rail Station and Shopping malls with lots of retailed outlets, supermarket, food outlets. Highly recommended to all people, holiday visitors and even businessmen.

Good for a short stay, especially if you want to be near 广州东站 (East Station) ! Friendly and helpful staff. There are local diners and fast food options in the area. The hotel can be difficult to find as it's part of a large complex with private apartments and small businesses. The reception is on the 22nd floor, you can call them for help (no English though). The room itself needs some improvements (there's leak in the toilet) and is a bit outdated. However the environment was quiet and the cleaning staff were friendly and polite!

Liz Hotel is very close to the B1 subway exit (approx 3 minutes) and Guangzhou East Railway station. It is also very convenient to get to the airport via the subway. The subway station is connected to Po Park, a massive underground mall. The customer service is very helpful and polite. We were able to use Wechat to communicate with a direct contact, 张洛, and it made communication extremely easy. The hotel offers breakfast (extra cost), and we opted for breakfast on a daily basis. The food was quite delicious, and they also have robots that help deliver food to guests' rooms. (Sadly, we never used it, but we have seen it everywhere). Our direct contact sometimes came to deliver fruits and late night snacks to us, and it was extremely kind and thoughtful of her. She was only a Wechat message away, and we always felt like we were looked after. The hotel also has a self-service laundry room (with detergent provided) and a gym on the fourth floor. Guests do not need to go elsewhere to get their clothes washed. The room is very clean, and the bed is very comfortable. NOTE: Due to the huge number of guests, sometimes the wait for the elevator can be quite long, and there can be a short wait for a breakfast table at peak times (9am onward).

I like the location. U can turn right after the entrance and right again to the walk along the canal. staff are good and polite and the coffee machine in the lobby is great. Breakfast is not bad. Will be back .thank you.

I had the privileged of staying at room 1009 with my partner on a last minute booking. The hotel's air-conditioning was great as we loved the cool environment. The minute we check-in to our time of checking-out after a 5-night stay was quiet, pleasant and relaxed. I love the themed painting on each level of the hotel, it's very lively. The hotel's location was prefect with the MRT just a stone throw away, fresh fruit market and lots of eatery stores. The food on Level 2 was delicious as we've dined there 3 times during our stay. I loved the complimentary tea served at the lobby and the daily fruits provided on our level. A special thanks to the housekeeping department, especially, a girl named 'Qiuqiu', who has an amazing patient and is so good with her work. I hope to meet more people like Qiuqiu for all my future travels.
