Hotel Hampton by Hilton di Guangzhou

This time, I brought my family to Guangzhou. I was very pleased to have a triple room, which made it convenient for looking after our elderly family members. They even provided earplugs due to a small construction project next door, but it wasn't noisy at all, and we didn't end up using them. The hotel was very clean, and the surrounding area offered convenient options for dining, drinks, and transportation.

Having recently opened, the hotel's facilities are brand new and in pristine condition. The rooms are equipped with smart switches, boast a well-thought-out layout, and are incredibly user-friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean, featuring large windows with pleasant views. The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the restaurant also provided a rich and varied breakfast spread. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. On the day of our check-in, the hotel proactively contacted me. Upon learning we were visitors from out of town, a staff member promptly provided local weather updates and offered helpful directions to the hotel. This thoughtful gesture was incredibly warm and a pleasant surprise; I was genuinely impressed by their enthusiastic service. Upon arrival, the hotel staff's cheerful and professional demeanor immediately stood out. The lobby itself was elegantly designed, diffused with a lovely fragrance, and sufficiently air-conditioned, providing an instant refreshing coolness upon entry. The front desk team was comprised of pleasant, professional individuals, and check-in was a breeze. They even presented a small gift to our child. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were equally friendly and always wore a smile. The service truly was impeccable. This will undoubtedly be my top choice for any future trips to Guangzhou. Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Luoxi proved to be the most comfortable stay for my family and me during our summer vacation. A well-deserved 5-star rating and a huge thumbs up to them!

If I had to rate my stay out of 5, I'd give it a 3, and here's why: 1. First, the bed sheets in my room had visible stains and clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. I felt very itchy while sleeping and woke up several times because of it. What's more, the mattress was old and worn out; it sagged significantly when I lay down, making it very uncomfortable to change positions during the night. 2. Second, when we returned to the hotel at 12:44 AM on August 9th, the front desk staff questioned us in a very unfriendly manner, and the security guard at the entrance also stopped us. I was too exhausted to make a fuss at the time, but this experience is a stark contrast to the warm and friendly atmosphere portrayed in your company's promotional videos, wouldn't you agree? On the plus side, there were a couple of redeeming points: 1. During check-in, the front desk staff immediately upgraded us to a Deluxe King Room. 2. I was also offered a late check-out. (The front desk did mention this was in exchange for a good review, which I agreed to at the time. However, after my stay, I couldn't honestly leave a positive review, so I discreetly checked out before 11 AM instead.)

The hotel's air conditioning was excellent, keeping the room perfectly cool. The room facilities were quite new, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional, handling check-in and invoice processing very quickly. My room came with a minibar and pour-over coffee, which, as a coffee lover, I really appreciated! The housekeeping staff were also very good. The AC worked effectively, the room had no unpleasant odors, and there was always ample hot water. The restaurant was decent and had a terrace, which was convenient for sun-drying clothes. While it's about 1km from the subway station, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service there, which is very convenient. It's also super easy to get to the airport from here – just book it in advance. Overall, excellent value for money. I highly recommend it!

We stay for 2 nights after 7 hours travelling time from Kunming, Yunnan via Bullet Train. We didn't regret booking this Hotel since everything was so perfect. As this hotel is our last checkpoint before catching our flight back to our country, the free laundry self service facilities is very helpful as we can settle our laundry before heading back. We are muslims travellers and we hope the Hotel can expand further the Vegetarian section of their buffet or it will be best for Halal meals to be introduced.

The front desk staff were very attentive and welcoming. Check-in was incredibly fast, and the breakfast offered a great variety. The hotel is conveniently located near the subway, making it super easy to get around. I'd definitely choose to stay here again!

Our butler, Chris, provided exceptional service. Before check-in, he took the initiative to understand my preferences and even arranged a room upgrade. When the air conditioning had an issue during our stay, he promptly reported it to the engineering department for repair. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience! The chicken noodle soup for breakfast was delicious. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room diligently every day and always provided extra bottles of water. I would definitely come back given the chance!

The hotel is conveniently located at the intersection of Huangpu Avenue and Shipai East Road, offering easy access to attractions like Canton Tower and Taikoo Hui. Shipai East Road boasts a wide array of dining options, and the Guangzhou Restaurant right next to the hotel is definitely a must-try. We received a room upgrade, and the room was spacious, clean, and offered great views. Interestingly, right next to the hotel is Shipai Village, a famous urban village in Guangzhou, and the sheer density of its buildings was quite surprising. The hotel breakfast offered a diverse selection, and the Ho Fun (rice noodles) were particularly good. Overall, we had a good experience at this hotel. Highly recommended!

Everything was nice. Shelly provides friendly service. The breakfast selection was substantial and tasty. The room was as described, comfortable bed and large shower. The only issues we had were the room floor lighting couldn't be turned off and LED on light switches and TV were bright, so we couldn't fully darken the room. Also the thermostat was set to cool but lowering the temp didn't seem to kick on the AC. Regardless of this, we had an excellent night's sleep. Would stay again.

Very comfortable and new hotel with well-appointed rooms. Longmei Village, right behind the hotel, has loads of great restaurants and late-night street food. Convenient to nearby offices in Panyu. Ms. Whitney Zhou at the front desk provided excellent service and a free upgrade to a huge and luxurious corner suite, much appreciated! Breakfast buffet and restaurant is good, 24-hour convenience store inside the hotel is a plus.
