The location was really good, the staff was good and the room was clean, but the mattress was way too hard, you can feel the springs poking you.

The hotel is very close to the old centre (Beijing road) of Guangzhou. The rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need including disposable goods. The staff is very friendly and warm.
But the bed is as hard as you cannot imagine. You lie quite directly on a metal grid pressing into your body. A relaxed sleep is impossible. I contacted the reception in the middle of the night. They were very nice, but there was no solution as all beds in the hotel seem to be the same. Maybe the problem could be solved by putting a thick, soft blanket on the metal mattress.
I left after one night and chose a different hotel.

Location is great, near Bejing Road and surround a lot good restaurants. Staffs are very nice and friendly. I like them.

The location is the most convenient, everything is within walking distance! 24-hour reception to help with various issues, someone even speaks a little English.
The only downside is the very poorly ventilated room. Even with the window open, the air does not circulate (it was humid and stuffy in the off-season).
