Ulasan Yu Yue Mansion

I loved the location - in the older more traditional ‘Xiguan’ area of Liwan. Wonderful to walk around and a great base for exploring the city. Much more pedestrian friendly this side of town. Great restaurants and street food nearby (several 4+ rated on dianping right on the doorstep), and the beautiful Liwan Lake Park, with all its daily liveliness and afternoon operas. Probably the most beautiful area of Guangzhou (that I’ve seen).  The hotel is a small business. Friendly and personal. No big foyer and concierge, and alleyway rather than road access. The alleys in Guangzhou are beautiful and full of life, so to me this was a plus. Passcode entrance at night.  The hotel is clean, casual but professional, low key and a bit special. Enjoyed it so much I ended up extending my stay.  The room is very generously sized. This room has two small balconies, great for relaxing in the afternoon with the sites and sounds of the trees and neighbourhood.  Bed is quite firm but I found it very comfortable. Good quality linen, pillows and towels. Big shower and clean bathroom.  And kittens (if you’re lucky and visit while they’re still small).

This is a small hotel with all the good feel. Took us a bit to find the hotel from where our taxi dropped us. This hotel is located along an alleyway. No cars can go in. So, when the taxi dropped us and with hardly functioning foreign map app, we almost couldn't find the hotel. But once we found it, we felt a big rock removed from our chests. The reception was very nice. She came out to greet us when we were searching for the hotel. Talked a bunch and recommended us places to eat nearby. This hotel is within the liwan district with many old buildings and river walk etc. It's a nice quiet place compared to the buzzling Beijing road. You can walk to the metro train station nearby. The room has everything you need. It was clean. They have a lovely cat in the lobby.

Came back after already staying there last year, will definitely choose it again next time I visit Guangzhou!

Very disappointed with the construction pathway and very dangerous to walk into the hotel, I don’t know why they still continue open for customer. They don’t care about the safety of the customers. They care about the profit instead, what a shame. Do take note NO LIFT ONLY STAIRS

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The room was clean, spacious and with a nice simple design. The service mentality of the team is outstanding and the staff was very kind and helpful. The pricing is also fair. I can recommend staying here.

Overall experience is good for the stay. Just take note that this hotel doesn’t provide lift but the staff is helpful to bring up for us. Will definitely visit the area again :)

Highly recommended! The staff were so friendly, they provided us suggestions about the attractions nearby, helped us to carry our luggage to the 4th floor (there is no lift), and even switched on the A/C before we arrived so that we can have a cool check-in! Unfortunately I cannot upload a video here, so here are some of the screenshots of the room (and pictures of the cat), this is the room for 3pax. It is located in the alley next to 西關明記腸粉, which the food is awwwwwesomee! 荔灣湖公園 is right opposite, and 永慶坊 is just around 1km away. The metro station is also around 10mins walking distance away. In conclusion, I will say that this is a strategic location to stay. There are 3 washing machines in the public area in 4th floor, detergents were provided as well. The room is clean and neat. A great experience!

Pros- great location ( near to tourist spot and lots of eateries), 2 train stations walking distance around 8-16mins) Cons- NO LIFT! But staff willing to help deliver during check in. If you check out a bit hassle if you need them to assist on the luggage. - all services DIY, might not suit for people with no weixin. - cleaniness might need improve, found some stain on the towel

Great stay at Yu Yue mansion. The place is just opposite of a lake park, which is nice for morning walk after breakfast.
