Petit Hotel dans une batisse du moyenage. Accuell chaleureux. La voiture doit etre parqué dans un parking surbouké. Non surveillé et ouvert à tout le monde.. J ai retrouvé ma voiture rayé, un acte de vendalisme gratuit... La propreté de la chambre est corect. Par contre des parties doivent etre renové. Petit dejeuné peut mieux faire mais reste dans la norme. Sans plus.

Palazzo storico con molti particolari interessanti, come il giardino pensile e il tunnel segreto che un tempo lo collegava al Palazzo Ducale. Posizione dell'albergo centralissima, con possibilità di parcheggiare a circa 600 metri, vicino la famosa funivia...consigliamo di farvi spiegare bene come raggiungere l'albergo perchè non è proprio intuitivo a causa delle varie ZTL attive e dei sensi unici del centro storico. Personale gentile e accogliente. Dalla nostra stanza si sentiva l'orologio a campane che rimanda al Medioevo ma ci si abitua subito. Buona pulizia della camera. La colazione è varia ed abbondante. L'albergo è collegato al bar della fiction Don Matteo con affaccio sulla famosa piazza che purtroppo, in questo periodo, è in ristrutturazione. Esperienza molto positiva, consigliatissimo!

I have mixed feelings about this hotel, a bit more negative than positive. First off the hotel looks great from the outside, and the common areas are very nice as well. The hotel is a converted monastery so it definitely has character and charm. However once you scratch below the surface then you start to realize this should not be labeled a luxury hotel. If it was independent I would have less of a problem with it, but they are part of the ”Small Luxury Hotel” alliance (SLH) therefore they have international hotel luxury levels to uphold but unfortunately they do not. I am no longer top tier of the SLH loyalty program, I recently did not stay often enough with this hotel chain to renew top tier so I am now middle tier, consequently I did not expect a material room upgrade. I received a modest +1 upgrade from entry level room which was not a surprise. The room was acceptable in some ways, but the upkeep / maintenance was lacking. The towel heater was not heating and the paint was cracking and rusting. The room was very hot so we needed to open the window for some fresh air; the handle was loose and difficult to operate and will possibly fall off soon. The hairdryer was hanged and attached to the wall, which is something far more common at cheap hotels like an Ibis. The main feature which did not meet luxury standards was breakfast. It was appalling, in Italy of all places. The only hot dish was scrambled eggs and bacon. The only vegetable available was large uncut tomatoes. Heck even lowly Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express hotels offer better. Service was hit and miss - in the restaurant it was fine, and also I wanted to buy bottles of wine from their impressive cellar and someone came to unlock it and show me around. But there were other aspects where service fell short of luxury level. Upon arrival there was nobody to help at the entrance with luggage. Also every luxury hotel should have room service available all day but at this hotel it did not start until 8pm which made it impossibly late because we travel with a 2-year old. The restaurant itself also did not open until 8pm so we simply could not have dinner at the hotel. Overall this is not a luxury hotel and does not belong in the SLH group. If it was an independent hotel and considering the complete absence of international hotel chains in the area, I would be far more lenient but if a hotel belongs in an international group then guests will judge differently. The price tag at Park Hotel Ai Cappucini was also not cheap at all - it is inflated due to benefiting from the SLH name without fully delivering on quality.

Hotel e servizio da incubo. Probabilmente la peggior esperienza in tanti anni di viaggio. Se decideste di pernottare in questo albergo la prima cosa che dovete sapere è che non dormirete, in quanto ubicato davanti il campanile di Gubbio e non avendo le adeguate finestre e isolamenti acustici, sarete svegliati ogni 15 minuti, inoltre se per caso prenotaste con booking e alla richiesta della Direttrice Veronica non accettaste la cancellazione in cambio di una colazione, sarete esclusi da ogni sorta di gentilezza perché in quel caso siete già diventati un problema, insomma, mendicare il 20% di booking non è nulla in confronto a sentirsi dire che se non si riesce a dormire a causa delle campane il problema è il cliente che ha prenotato, Follia, questa è la gestione sotto le direttiva di Veronica, quindi penso proprio che abbia sbagliato mestiere. Non scrivo nulla per la povera vittima impiegata in quest hotel, sola a dover fare tutto con l'hotel pieno, Follia o forse pure illegale, mmmm...meglio finirla qui..

Vacanza breve fatta con la famiglia. Molto bella la struttura all'esterno, grande caseggiato antico ed ampio giardino con tavolini e divanetti esterni, di notte fa una bellissima figura. All'interno è tutto a mattoncini, fedele alla fabbricazione della struttura; camera da letto molto grande, ma bagno privato (ero al 1o piano) molto piccolo e vecchio. In molti punti della camera era presente della polvere. La piscina non è come nelle foto di presentazione purtroppo, in particolar modo quella piccola presenta segni evidenti dovuti alla vecchiaia così come le piastrelle della pavimentazione, oltretutto per arrivarci dall'hotel occorre oltrepassare una discesa fatta esclusivamente di terra e prato, solamente 3 gradini presenti. Nel ristorante tutto davvero ottimo in compenso, idem la colazione e prezzi nella norma. Lo staff molto cordiale e simpatico. In ogni caso una struttura davvero notevole che se migliorata in alcune cose ha un potenziale altissimo, di sicuro guadagnerebbe una stella.
