I had the best time in the hostel! So much so that I even extended for one more night. :) I accidentally booked a day earlier but the owner was so kind and changed the dates to my planned ones free of charge! I got to meet a lot of people and we also went on little excursions around the area which was so cool! Thank you guys I miss you already!:)

It was my first time staying at a hostel, and I had an absolutely fantastic experience! I wholeheartedly recommend everyone goes on an outing with the owner! This time we went to Motianling, which boasted beautiful scenery and small waterfalls. Everyone had a blast playing in and jumping into the water! 💃 The friendly atmosphere and people make it perfect for solo travelers. ☺️ And a special shout-out to the hard-working and lovely Chui!

This is the one and only youth hostel in Guilin where I never want to leave! The host is incredibly friendly, and Dachui is gorgeous. What's more, they organize tons of activities, and the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic.

The hostel may be small, but it's perfectly equipped. It's centrally located, with all the major attractions nearby. The host also occasionally organizes excursions for guests to explore off-the-beaten-path spots in the area, like waterfalls, canyons, and caves – it's truly a unique and fun experience! I'll definitely be back!

I'd confidently call this the pinnacle of youth hostels in Guilin. A strange city sheds its cold, unfamiliar facade and begins to feel gentle when it holds someone you want to see. And because this particular hostel is nestled in Guilin, it makes me feel that Guilin truly is a gentle and welcoming city... I've fallen in love with the whole place, and every time I return, it feels just like coming home, haha. How can I possibly describe this place accurately? An interesting place, A group of interesting people, Getting together to do interesting things... It truly doesn't get more enjoyable than this! We explored waterfalls, canyons, and caves together... The owner always meticulously arranged every trip, which was incredibly thoughtful. And they are absolutely reliable and trustworthy, guaranteed! Haha. What's more, this hostel is truly enchanting, like a living museum. Despite its small space, the walls are covered with countless photos. Each picture represents different times, different places, and people from all walks of life who gathered here and left their mark... So, as you gaze at those myriad photos on the walls, you sense moments from countless pasts and presents converging in this small, vibrant universe. Especially the 24 densely filled guestbooks, which meticulously chronicle 8 years of accumulated human stories and cultural history. Everything about it is truly magical, absolutely stunning! It's pure delight for anyone with an appreciation for culture and history, haha. There's so much more I wish I could say, but unfortunately, I'm limited to 500 characters here, so I can't express it all. Anyway, just go for it – you won't be disappointed!

This is a truly heartwarming hostel. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I arrived feeling a little apprehensive. To my surprise, I ended up meeting friends from all over the world, and we chatted about all sorts of interesting people and experiences. I found out from them that many guests here are regulars who have visited numerous times, truly treating this place as their second home. I think if I get the chance to visit Guilin again, this cozy little hostel will definitely be my go-to choice.

A true hidden gem right in the heart of the city! The host is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond, helping with anything you need to book and even organizing activities for guests. Honestly, if I'd known how helpful they were, I wouldn't have spent so much time researching my own itinerary! It was lovely to connect with fellow travelers; sharing our experiences was so enriching, and everyone I met was fascinating. My only regret is that my stay was too short. It's definitely a place I'd love to come back to.

My trip to Guilin was less about sightseeing and more about the people I met. We only briefly visited the famous spots; what truly moved me was never Elephant Trunk Hill itself, but the journey I shared with my hostel mates. The best food wasn't *gan guo niu wa* (dry-pot frog), but the lively atmosphere of a group of us gathered around, eagerly sharing dishes. The best drink wasn't some fancy beverage, but the "Su Yi" we kept downing bowl after bowl. The most authentic rice noodles were from the shop we hunted down together, navigating the streets and alleys on our electric scooters. The most exhilarating moments were our carefree splashes and play, come rain or shine. I'm so glad I came here, and even more grateful to have met all of you. The world is wide, and our paths may diverge, but I hope we meet again someday. I will definitely be back! Next time, "I'll be waiting for you in Guilin!"

This is a fantastic hostel! The owner is incredibly friendly, and it truly feels like a home away from home. Here, I met so many charming and fascinating travelers and heard all sorts of amazing stories. Unexpectedly, opening up and chatting with strangers became the highlight of my evenings – it was an absolute blast! The blackboard was covered in travel tips and food recommendations: 'Qiufu Rice Noodles' – good! '38 Hotpot' – good! I didn't get a chance to try out the other spots yet, haha, I'll save them for next time. I really enjoyed my stay here; it was relaxed, comfortable, and full of genuine warmth and hospitality. If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back. P.S. A heads-up for those who prefer quiet – it's so much fun that people often stay up late, enjoying the lively atmosphere and not wanting to sleep!

If I had another chance, I'd book this place without a second thought, right away! I hadn't planned anything, but then I stumbled upon this hostel on Xiaohongshu and was instantly captivated. But when I checked, it was fully booked! Anyone know that 'you want what you can't have' feeling?! I stayed elsewhere for two days until a bed finally opened up here, and I immediately rushed over to move in. And sure enough, it was absolutely worth the wait—the room was clean and tidy, and even the duvet smelled so fresh! I don't know what laundry detergent the owner uses, but the moment I lay down, I felt completely at ease, ready for a blissful sleep. My happiness level instantly soared. What was even more delightful was meeting a bunch of interesting people here: we explored together, rushed to food stalls to feast, and laughed until we couldn't stop. My solo trip somehow transformed into a lively and heartwarming group celebration. I have to give a special shout-out to a girl named Da Chui who works here (last picture)—she's the GOAT! Slim waist, fair skin, beautiful face, and most importantly, an absolutely amazing personality – so genuine and adorable. She's incredibly easy to get along with, and I genuinely couldn't help but adore her. ❤️ The kind of person you just wish you could pack up and take home with you! Until next time, I'll definitely be back!

The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. Da Chui was lovely, and there was a wonderful sense of camaraderie among everyone. The owner even organized outings for guests.

One of the best hostel experiences I've ever had! The owner is a really cool guy, he organized a trip to a nearby waterfall and took some great photos of us. The atmosphere in the hostel is great, it's really easy to make friends. And the dog is adorable.

When I read the reviews, I feel this place is really awesome. But getting there, I have a little bit of a hard time finding the location. Then, when I arrive, the boss is not here so some people staying there open the door for me. The dog is so cute and nice! The toilets are really clean and the place itself (room) is a bit dusty. When my roommate moves above, my bed moves a little as well, which can be a bit of a bother. But the biggest problem, that made me leave, is that the beds are sooooooo hard, I never experiences that before. And also, there are no curtains, so you get light on your face hard time. Of course, you have curtains for your bed, but you don't have curtains at the window, which is a bummer. Last thing, I checked out very very late but the owner let me not pay an extra day because I changed plan, this is really awesome.

As for you saying that the bed will shake when someone goes to the upper bunk, which is inconvenient for you, you can spend more money to live in a single room. Why come to live in my youth hostel? If you don’t even have this tolerance, you really don’t deserve to be a youth hostel. (It’s really hard to serve) In addition, there are curtains on the windows of each room. If you don’t know, you can consult me, and now there are curtains installed on the upper and lower bunks. Regarding the hardness of the bed, everyone has different needs. We Chinese generally don't sleep on a mattress that is too soft, so I think the mattress here is moderately hard and soft. Of course, you can tell me if you have any problems, and the mattress can be added. We clearly have WeChat but we didn't communicate. Last but not least, I will store your luggage for free until you check out at night. The rules say check out at 12 o'clock, but the rules are dead and alive. At this time, you will know to send me WeChat. I usually agree to this kind of problem that does not affect other people's stay. I really don't understand why they gave me a rating of 3 points in the end. It's just what the heart thinks [smile]
