The hotel staff, particularly the friendly girl, went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. She was incredibly kind and had a wonderful attitude, making our stay truly enjoyable.
The hotel offers a range of amenities that are essential for travelers. There’s a washing machine, dryer, and even an iron, so you can stay fresh and comfortable during your stay. Additionally, we were able to take advantage of the complimentary Two River and Four Lakes tour and a one-hour motorbike rental.
Overall, this hotel is a great choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Guilin. We highly recommend it and would definitely choose it again if we return to the city.

It might have been the off-peak season, but the price was unbelievably good. I even used my Ctrip points to get an additional 200+ RMB discount, bringing the cost down to just over 310 RMB per night, including breakfast for two! They have a swimming pool, and the staff, especially the younger team members, were incredibly enthusiastic. I honestly felt their service awareness surpassed that of many current five-star hotels. I posted about it on my WeChat Moments, and all my friends said it was an absolute steal! Check out the pictures for yourselves.
**Facilities:** The hardware rivals many 4-star hotels.
**Cleanliness:** The cleaning team did an excellent job; it was impeccably clean.
**Environment:** Both the natural scenery and the ecological surroundings are superb.

GGuest UserWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even at late hours. The location is very close to a couple of the main attractions in the area and being used to a cooler climate we really appreciated the fast cooling A/C.
The covered trip to Xi Street is a nice touch as well, as it was a solid night time activity.

AAnonymous UserMy husband and I are a married couple from Germany. We spent two nights in this beautiful boutique hotel. It was a relief not to stay in one of the usual large tourist hotels. Everything was individually tailored to the guest's needs. From the initial contact (via the WeChat app, which is essential for a complete trip to China) to our departure, everything went perfectly. We had booked a car pickup from the train station. This went smoothly. The lady was holding a piece of paper with our name on it. The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking. We chose a room with a 270-degree view. It was magnificent. The entire hotel is very stylish and equipped with the latest technology. The beds are very large and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent. Not far from the colorful and lively city center, yet far enough away to be able to relax. I would especially like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, we don't speak Chinese, and the staff (almost) doesn't speak English, but with the help of modern communication tools (language apps), we understood each other perfectly. Every wish was fulfilled. You can even use the hotel's washing machine. This is fantastic, especially for tourists on longer trips to China, as it makes laundry easy. We also had the opportunity to participate in a fantastic singing bowl ceremony for free (5 stars), and the hotel photographer took photos of us on the hotel grounds overlooking the grotto. Three pictures were free. The breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner twice in the hotel restaurant. The quality and preparation were excellent. If we ever return to China, we will definitely book this hotel again. It's a little gem!

The service is exceptionally meticulous and thoughtful across all departments, including security, front desk, and room service (special mention to staff members #5, #8, #1, and #16 for their outstanding service) 😊. They also offer a delightful afternoon tea, along with complimentary ethnic costumes perfect for photo opportunities. The various settings are incredibly picturesque, making for some truly stunning shots – absolutely brilliant! 😊😊 This is definitely a hotel worth recommending for anyone traveling to Guilin.

It's incredibly convenient for getting around, with a taxi stand just a minute or two's walk away, which is great for avoiding long walks with luggage. Despite being on West Street, it was surprisingly quiet – a peaceful retreat. The soundproofing must be excellent, as I didn't hear any street noise and slept wonderfully. The hotel breakfast was good, and the service was top-notch. When I requested cotton pads, they were delivered to my room promptly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality.

I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy.
Room Details
We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
Facilities and Services
The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it.
Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew.
Location and Accessibility
The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo.
Customer Service
The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay.
Overall Experience
The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo.
However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness.
In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.

MM.O.T.A.S around the worldMy family was very happy with our stay. there was something to do for everyone, pools were clean and well equipped. we 2 double bedrooms, both very spacious, clean and comfortable beds. We had a beautiful river view whcih also gave us amazing sunset view beyond the mountains of Guilin. They help you arrange trips and are very attentive to your needs and requests. Breakfast was delicious and varied as was dinner at the buffet restaurant. It is only 10 minutes drive away from main spots.
