Stayed for 5 nights here. The hotel lobby is nice and the attendants were friendly. However, there is a bit of cigarette smell inside the lobby as some guests are smoking. Location is good, its around 10minute walk to the nearest metro. There are bus stops within 10 minute walk too. There is a food hall just beside the hotel which is very convenient, and affordable too. The hotel is in a quiet area, and often not much road traffic. We also had hotel breakfast here. They had lots of choices, mostly home cooked style food.. fried rice, eggs, vegetables, coffee machine, soy milk, noodles etc. They change some of their menu everyday. The lady making the noodles was also very nice and friendly. For the room, we liked it. Clean and spacious. Bed was cozy. However the airconditioner was not that cold, seems it only reached around 24c.. which was just ok. Good thing is that the weather became colder on our 3rd night, so we just opened our windows. Shower pressure is also good. They provided us free water everyday, and tea..but no coffee. Service was excellent and quick! It was also good that we can contact the service crew via wechat. Sevice crew were very friendly. Overall good value for money and would recommend!

The breakfast was extensive, with porridge, steamed buns, fried dough sticks, bread, milk, fresh fruit, and local noodles. Everything was delicious, and a breakfast was a great way to start the day full of energy. The hotel is surrounded by a wealth of amenities, including shopping malls, supermarkets, and restaurants. Dining options and shopping are all within easy walking distance. Transportation is also convenient, making it easy to get to your destination by bus, subway, or taxi.

The accommodation choice for the trip to Guiyang is right! Strong Yishang Hotel is simply a treasure. The location is excellent, it is super convenient to go to Qianling Mountain and Qingyun Market. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft like sleeping on the clouds, and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry and is also intimately equipped with a light mirror. After repeated comparisons online, we finally chose to book this hotel. On the day of check-in, a hotel staff contacted us in advance and asked us whether we should drive or take the high-speed rail. Then they told us that if we walked from the high-speed rail station, we should take the West Plaza and the North Station to the hotel. It takes about 18 minutes to walk through two underground passages. We had luggage, so we decided to take a taxi to the hotel. We walked out of the high-speed rail station and walked to Gate 1 of the West Square and took a taxi online. We arrived at the hotel in 4 minutes. It was so fast. When we checked in at the hotel, the front desk said that rooms were not tight during the off-season, so they gave us a free upgrade to a room type. The room was very large, with a sofa, floor-to-ceiling windows, and the floor was very high, so it was very quiet and had a wide view. The sanitation is very clean, the staff are also very qualified, and the service is very enthusiastic. We were given 4 more bottles of mineral water for free. The service is great and the facilities are complete. Surprisingly, there is also a laundry room. There is a hanging dryer, which is so convenient for drying shirts without getting wrinkled. The whole check-in process was very satisfying and pleasant. The location, service and environment are good. I will choose to stay in this hotel next time I come to Guiyang.
