Incredible hotel very the family working there was so kind the room was incredible and clean and the view was stunning. The family working there picked us up from the train station and then when we wanted to go to the ancient town he drove us directly to the gate for no extra charge. Also we needed to do laundry and when we asked where we can they offered us their machine and even hung out clothes for us

Of my trip to zhangjiajie, I love this place the most. Owner fetched us from the train station personally and was welcoming. Gave us an upgrade for which I am grateful. The best thing is the view from our room! Incredible and breathtaking night scene of furong town across the river.

The best way to experience Furong Ancient Town is by staying at this hotel, which is located directly across from the entrance to the ancient town. If possible, book one of the rooms with a view—the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. It’s peaceful and quiet, away from the noise of the town, and in my opinion, it’s a much better choice than staying at one of the hotels next to the waterfall. The owner treats every guest like family. He welcomes you with fresh fruit, serves delicious homemade food at the breakfast, and truly goes above and beyond to make your stay special. He also provides complimentary transportation to and from the train station, as well as rides to and from Furong Ancient Town, which is only a 2–3 minute drive away. The hotel is new and exceptionally well maintained. You can tell the owner takes great pride in the property and is constantly keeping everything in excellent condition. The towels and bed linens are new, spotless, and of excellent quality. I genuinely loved my stay here and would definitely choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Furong. It was one of the highlights of my trip.

This stay was the highlight of our entire trip. From our 3rd floor balcony, the views were beautiful, and the slow, quiet pace of the town was such a welcome change from the busy cities we'd been visiting. But what made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the owner, Mr. Zhang, and his family. He personally picked us up from the train station despite our late arrival, and when we got to the inn, his family had fresh-cut watermelon waiting for us. The next day, he and his wife made us home-cooked noodles with smoked ribs, eggs from their own chickens, and their homemade spicy pickled vegetables. It was the best meal of our entire trip. The room was comfortable and the view spectacular, but it was the Zhangs' warmth and generosity that made this trip truly memorable for my partner and me. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Zhang, for being such wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this inn to anyone looking for an authentic, heartfelt stay.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room had a great view of Furong town and the waterfall. The host was very friendly and helpful. Offers free lifts both to and from the railway station and into the town. Even stayed up late waiting for us to to call him to pick us up from town and gave us fresh fruit when we got back. Would recommend this place especially for the host and the service provided.

Waterfall View Inn is a charming property across the river in a peaceful setting overlooking Furong Ancient Town. The view from my balcony room (8305) on the third floor was amazing, particularly at night when the ancient town lights up around sunset. The family who operate the property are extremely friendly and hospitable, going above and beyond to look after me during my two night stay from 20 June 2026. From driving me to/from Furongzhen Station and to/from Furong Ancient Town, to lending me a local sim card for the first night until I worked out how to get my esim working in China. When I enquired if there were laundry facilities in the town, they even took a small bag of clothes off my hands and washed them for me. Even though it wasn’t included in the price, they provided a tasty traditional noodle breakfast with tea and fresh fruits. The room was immaculate, well appointed, and quite spacious for a solo traveller. I would not hesitate in recommending the Waterfall View Inn and happily rate it 5 stars!

Very peaceful, very quiet nice place and the view of the Fu Rong Zheng and river is very good. The owner is very polite and room is very clean, pleasant and big. The location is on hill overlooking the river and resort, but the distance is less than 5 mins drive to the resort. The owner provides pick and send service to attraction and railway station foc. It gives us the benefit of staying in a country side environment but the benefit of going to the attraction easily. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is lovely and in a perfect location. The host, who is also the owner, is the kindest person we met in China. He was incredibly helpful—he picked us up from the waterfall, took us to buy food, and even offered us fruit from his own tree. He was always available to help. We highly recommend it! Plus, the hotel has a beautiful view and great energy."

Our stay at Furong Town Waterfall View Inn was fantastic. We were there in a weekend, and even though we knew what we were getting ourselves into in terms of how busy the town gets over the weekend, we were more and more pleased with our choice to stay outside of the town and get out of the noise as the days progressed. Our room had a spacious balcony with a simply enchanting view over the river and Furongzhen with its waterfalls, whether day or night. The room itself was very nice as well. The bins were cleaned everyday, and the water supply was filled everyday as well. What really set this place apart for us, was the staff. They were extremely attentive and hospitable. Upon arrival, we were immediately informed that they offer free drop-off service to the town and the railway station, and any other (within reasonable distance) tourist hotspot. They were also very helpful with planning our daytrip to the Red Stone Forest. Lastly, a very special thanks to the youngest staff member. He made sure we ate the night of our arrival, helping us with ******* so we could order food and checking in over WeChat often. To all staff: All the best and thank you!
